Will the Official Disney DVC take you to Beach Club and Boardwalk to walk us through to see real time the vibe of the resorts including looking into rooms. If not can I go to these resorts and ask to look at the DVC rooms? Who to ask?

Does the official DVC have mock-ups of Beach Club and Boardwalk at the DVC office?

There is model rooms at the boardwalk that you can visit anytime.

You can go to any resort and ask, but whether they can let you see one will be hit or miss. Just depends on occupancy, how busy the staff is, what side of the bed the CM got up on that morning.

But as stated above, the Boardwalk has models you can look at, at the BW. SSR sales center also has models of whatever is currently selling (I wasn't sure if they have changed out one of the models to Aulani? - last time we were there it was BLT and AKV).

I was recently in WDW and passed both the BWV sample room and the sales center at SS. I wanted to stop in to see the sample rooms but I did not want to take the time and deal with the bother of a sales pitch. Does anyone know if they will leave you alone if you tell them you are "just looking"?
Thanks.

even when we did the whole tour there really wasn't a sales pitch. I think they did their sales thing to us in like 15 minutes, we looked at the models and were done.

We stopped by the SSR sales center (we were staying at BCV that trip) to see the AKV models (this was a couple-maybe 3--years ago). We just told the people there we were SSR owners and wanted to see the AKV models. They said "sure, come on in" and while we could have (we didn't) ask questions--the CMs were available, no one bothered us or tried to talk to us.

At the time, there were regular hours for current owners to stop in and see the models, and we were there in that time frame (I think it was 3-5 on a weekday, but not 100% sure I'm remembering correctly)...

Another time we stopped in at the BWV model villa just to look...that CM "followed us" as we looked around, and we chatted--but it wasn't a sales pitch at all...just friendly chatting...

Even the sales center is hit or miss about viewing the models without it being a "tour". We were already owners and wanted to see the BLT model, but someone had to go with us. Another guide was there with someone else, so it worked out. If you are not an owner, don't expect to be let into the models without having a guide go with you. But, for the most part the tour lasts as long as you want....but some guides might rush you out the door once you express an interest in only looking...they do work on commission and will want to move on.

Maybe if you tell them that are already a DVC member (even if it's not true) and that you want to see a room before you book it, then you might be spared the pitch.

I've been to the SSR sales center, they prefer that current members who just want to tour come at the end of the day. It was a couple of years ago, we saw the AKV and BLT models. There was a cm there but they only answered questions if asked, there was no pitch.

Just curious if you are DVC members and you tell them you are and just want to check out the rooms, do they look it up to verify? We are members when we were at the Doorway to Dreams in Woodfied to check out the BLT rooms they looked it up first and then let us roam around without any sales pitch or anyone following us. I know this thread is talking about doing while at WDW, but just wondered if it was the same. Sorry to hijack and thanks.

As noted, the DVC tour is held entirely at the SSR Sales Center and the models inlcude only the resorts currently in active sales.

You can go to the front desk at any of the other resorts and ask to see a villa. If they have any clean and unoccupied, they will generally allow and accompany a brief look at a villa. I'd sugest going on a Friday around 2pm so there might be something cleaned after the 11am checkout and before another guest checks in. If you are there at a not-so-busy time of the year, you may be able to see a villa on any day/time.

Yes :goodvibes The Aulani model is open at the SSR sales center.
It is beautiful! BLT and AKV are still there as well.
