Will DAS Advance Selections have to be made for the park you have a pass for even with an AP or Hopper?

Are there any recent experiences with this or updates from anyone that’s tried it. I want to make our advanced selections for Hollywood, but start in Epcot in the morning. Will they allow this? Should I change my park tickets to Hollywood, get the advanced selections, and then change the tickets back to Epcot? I’m afraid I’ll lose the selections. Reading the comments it seems like it worked for some, but not others…. So any recent experiences would be helpful. Thanks!

We were not trying to change, but when I did DAS Advance Selections for a trip in February and another in April/May, the CM was looking at our My Disney Experience app and could only make them for that park.
I would assume you need to have a park reservation for the park you want the DAS Advance Selections for because that’s the way the system is set up to work. Even if someone posts it worked for them today, there is no guarantee it will work tomorrow

If I have HS tickets and HS advanced selections (for evening), but decide to change my tickets to Epcot so I can go there in the morning and then hop over to HS, will my advanced selections stay in my account? I think you didn’t understand my answer, so I’ll try to make it more clear…
Assume if you make your DAS Advance Selections in EPCOT, then change your park reservation to HS, the DAS Advance Selections will disappear.
Even if someone posts today that they changed park reservations, but the DAS Advance Selections didn’t disappear, that can‘t be counted to happen because that’s not the way it’s designed to work.

I‘d only do it if you are OK with losing the DAS Advance Selections after changing the park reservation
