Will Christmas Trees be on the week of Thanksgiving

I have seen the Christmas decorating schedule and it seems that almost all of the World will be decorated when we are there beginning 11-22. I was troubled when I read a post that said the decor is up but the lights are not turned on. Can someone confirm or deny this? I don't want to disappoint my DSs by telling them the wrong info. Thanks.

We have been there Thanksgiving week several times and Thanksgiving usually launches the start of the Christmas season festivities. I can't remember if the Christmas parade debut is earlier in the week, but it did occur on Thanksgiving day. That is probably when the lights go on as well.
