Will modifying a wait list from 31 days to 7 days reset my position in the waitlist queue?

Just an FYI, if less than 30 days the new reservation comes in and it requires less points, the balance will go into holding.

Thank you! I did know that but have never had to deal with holding points before. However, this time I’m willing to take my chances as it’s only 6 points fewer. I’ve had my current waitlist of one night for almost 7months now. I’ve stalked, seen days become available before and after my one day, but still nothing. At this point it probably isn’t very likely that it will come through anyway, but I want to give it a shot.
