My husband and I will be visiting WDW in the fall and plan to stay at POFQ. What building/floor should we request? We will be travelling with no kids this time (can you imagine??) and would like to have a relatively quiet room but convenient to the food court and bus stop and a nice river view. Any insight would be most appreciated.

Here's the POFQ map:

You can see which bldg's are on the river. Maybe the river sides of #5 or #6 would be good for you, they are still close to the food and bus. (Although you'll hear it many times on this board, there really isn't a far room in POFQ!) We've stayed in both of those, 3rd floors, facing the courtyard between them. I think the only areas that might be more noisy are the areas that face the pool. :)

I've stayed in Bldg 2 which I believe is the closest building to the river. We were just steps from the boat dock to DTD. Very short walk to the lobby/food court.

We were in building 5, facing the inner courtyard, on the third floor. It was close to the pool and laundry facilities. The resort is small so you're really never far away. Have fun! :)

We had building 1 facing the river and it was perfect. It is one of the farthest builings from the FC/poll but it is still only a 5 minute walk, maybe less. That's why I love this resort so much!
