Will BCV end up with preferred view?

Grabbing the steering wheel and trying to get this thread back on track and off that tired old "my resort is better than your resort" road. ;) ;)

My guess is that they won't go to a tiered system for at least two reasons. One -- My guess is that the number of rooms with the Epcot view shown in the promotional material is very small. It could, in fact, be only one room. Two -- the resort overall is not that large and the majority of the rooms have similar views. Once again, the preferred view would be so few rooms it wouldn't be worth the effort of tracking two-types of rooms. We already hear complaints from people who get a pool view for their preferred status. Imagine those who don't see Epcot from their window.

I'm fairly sure someone asked this question at the BWV annual meeting last year. I remember a pretty emphatic "NO" as the response.

My guide said DVC will never make the mistake of standard vs. preferred views in the future of the program.

DisneyAdventurer: We were there a couple of weeks ago and took a look at BCV. It looks to me like there won't be many good views of Epcot at all. There are many tall trees in the way, and I'm not even sure the top floor is higher than the trees.

We were looking at BCV from the Beach Club side of things. Anyone else look at them from a different angle?
