I loved the the rooms at POP and it would be nice if Art Of Animation could do the same with the mermaid rooms.

It's my understanding that they have. You can find 'room tour' videos of it. I know when we stayed at the Lion King rooms in February, they had been refurbed. New flooring and some new wall color, I believe.

That's what I understand. They upgraded to Queen beds, but thankfully (IMHO) skipped the ridiculous murphy bed so you still can have 2 beds and a table at all times.

They were working on the Little Mermaid rooms when the park closed. The renovation is nothing at all like Pop’s - no full size table hiding under a bed, no triple night stands. They are, however, adorable. It is not clear whether they will restart immediately upon reopening. Some rooms are done and the completed ones do now have queen beds. AoA, All Star Music, and Caribbean Beach still have doubles in some rooms. All Star Sports still has doubles in all rooms.

All Star Movies’s rooms are now basically a Clone of Pop with different pictures and chair fabric if you’re looking for another option.

Glad to hear Little Mermaid rooms at AOA do not have the murphy bed. Found the rooms at POP small and cramped. We had a crib and the only place there was room to put it was near the sink area. Not much room to put suitcases let alone all the baby supplies.

To be clear, the rooms at all 5 value resorts are the exact same size.

True - but didn't they replace the two double beds with a queen bed and a murphy bed? There was barely any room between the beds and as I said, only one place where the crib would fit. The rooms seemed larger with two double beds and a table. I'm sure if the murphy bed was up it would seem like there was more space but we needed two beds. My family has stayed at the values for most of our trips and the new set up makes the rooms seem even smaller.

At Pop and the All Stars, they replaced/are replacing 2 doubles with 2 queen beds, one of which folds into the wall like a Murphy bed.

At AoA LM, they’re replacing 2 doubles with 2 queen beds also. They take up exactly the same amount of space as at Pop, but one doesn’t fold into the wall. The coffee station they put into Pop/All stars is replaced at AoA LM by a table and chairs that take up considerably more space. The only place you could put a crib (without moving furniture) is by the sink area. See photos: https://www.themeparkprofessor.com/2020/02/art-of-animation-little-mermaid-renovated-rooms/

Thanks! Looks like I'll be cancelling those rooms.
