I am making a PS for the Wonderland Tea Party for my 6 year old DD but am very unsure about booking it for my DS 8. Are there mostly girls at the party? Will boys feel out of place?

I very seriously doubt he would want to go to the Wonderland Tea Party! He might enjoy the Pirate Cruise as an alternative, though! Mostly there were little girls ranging from ages 3-10 at the tea party. The only little boys were about 3 or 4 years old. There were a variety of ages and both boys and girls on the Pirate's Cruise. I think it would definitely be more up his alley.

My dd who is 4 is doing the tea party, but her 8 and 10 yr. old brothers are doing the pirate cruise. Unless your ds enjoys playing tea party at home and is a big Alice fan, I wouldn't sign him up for it. My dd is looking forward to dressing up in her Belle costume for this.

Nope, DS is definitely not into tea parties at home. His sister is. Just thought that it'll be nice for him to keep her company. He will not mind if there are other boys his age, but if there are mostly girls, he'll not enjoy it. Guess I'll just sign her up for the Tea Party. I have booked the Pirate Cruise for the both of them. Thanks for your input!:)

If you were looking for an event that both of them would like, you might like to check out the Cooking Experience. I think that my 8 y0 ds would like that.

It breaks my heart that I can't go! I am an Alice fan (since birth, practically) and I would LOVE to have a tea party with Alice and friends! My DS would probably prefer the pirates. I think we may try the breakfast at 1900 in hopes of running into Alice and Co. there.

My nephew did this with the rest of the 3 girls in the family. He enjoyed himself & he is a hard one to please.

DD, age 7, has done the tea party 3 times. I have not seen many boys there at any of the parties DD attended. The last time she did the party she told me, although she loved it, she felt a little "old" at the party because the girls were all much younger.

So, your DS, age 8 will probably be one of the oldest there and one of the only boys. He might feel out of place. Although, i have no doubt the CM's who run the party would make him feel very welcome!
