Will all 1 bedroom units eventually sleep 5?

Now that Vero Beach and OKW have added sleeper chairs to the 1 bedroom units, do you think that the other resorts will follow the trend?

I think it will be too crowded in some units.

I don't see the room in SSR or BWV for the extra sleeper chair..

They MIGHT have room for one of the Murphy Bed-style units like at Grand Californian and Aulani, but I gave up hope of that when the BoardWalk refurb last year didn't include any extra modifications.

After seeing how small the Jambo House 1 bedroom savannah view was, and it had the sleeper chair, I can't imagine the other 1 bedroom villas being any smaller. At JH, we had to physically move the chair to open it up. When it and the sofa bed were open, there wasn't much room left in the living area. We have stayed in all of the other 1 bedroom villas, except for OKW, and all seemed larger to us than the JH 1 bedroom.

don't think so - it would require a different layout and no table lamp or table in the livingroom -plus of course that chair.

Yes, they got the sleeper chair. It's mentioned in the new planner that they sleep 5 now.

Yes. Vero, Animal Kindgom Villas (non-Value), Old Key West, Treehouse Villas and Bay Lake Tower all have the sleeper chairs in One Bedroom and larger units.

Grand Californian and Aulani have / will have the Murphy Beds.

(NOTE OKW units are still being renovated but all should have the sleeper chairs by spring.)

I never understood why BWV reno didn't include adding a sleeper chair.
Not that we need it now (family of 3), but I thought the living room is big enough for 1.
Especially after staying at GCV and seeing the cool murphy bed

Are BWV 1brs that much smaller than GCV?
They could still put in a convertible twin bed/chair thing and make it into a 5er I think.
Then again, it's a moot point since they won't do it anyways

So it's just bad design on BWV side since I thought there's enough space for AKV 1br std at Jambo house for similar sqftage then. Bummer.
