Will a group of 9 be seated at separate tables?

I just made my ADR's for our November trip and the CM kept saying she had to book two tables. Does this mean we will be at separate tables?

We have 11 people and were told the same thing. We were even told at one of the resturants they would try to get us seated together. I am guessing this means we will be at seperate tabels.

We traveled Easter week with a party of 10. For every ADR I made, I was told we would be separated at two, sometimes even three tables. However, they seated us all together at every restaurant. At Prime Time, they even told us when we checked in at the podium that we would be separated, and yet they managed to seat us all at one table (two pushed together, actually). That doesn't mean that will happen every time, of course, but there is a good possibility that you will be seated together for at least some of your meals. Good luck!

It really depends on the inidividual restaurant and also how busy they might be at the time. We've done group trips with ADRs where they stated that we would probably be seated at separate tables. In reality, most of the time the CMs at the restaurants were able to move a few tables together for us. There were a few instances where they couldn't (Prime Time is one that comes to mind since most of the seating there is built-in kitchen counter style).

It depends. We have had vacations where we were always seated at one table. Then, in 2006 we were seated at two different tables half the time. We really make every effort now to snag restaurants that seat us at one table even if the time-slot isn't our first choice.

yes, it depends on the restaurant. The CM's taking your ADR over the phone are limited as to what they can offer you - they can only book the slots they have listed. But at the actual restaurant, they have the flexibility to combine tables or slide an extra chair onto a table that regularly seats 8. Make the reservation anyway you can - if they have to make the ADR for 2 separate tables to accomodate the 9 people, then go ahead. Try to get to the restaurant a little early and explain to the host that you all want to sit together and I'm sure they will do the best they can.

We were told that also and every place seated our party together (10) most nights up to 12 one night. I guess they have to say that incase your are split but it never happened to us.

We were also told we would be at 2 separate tables. Last week at Ohana we had 10 adults and 1 baby and at Coral Reef we had 9 adults and 1 baby. They were able to seat us together in both places.

I know I was hoping they would be able to move tables to fit us all in, but I won't get my hopes up.

1) At most eateries, a group of nine will need two separate tables.
2) They will do their best to keep the tables near each other, but not guaranteed.
