This summer I`m going to Disney (For the 8th time!) and we`re staying at the Wilderness Lodge... I was wondering if anyone`s ever stayed there, and if it was fun :cool1: Please post!

I will be going there for the first time this February. I would also like to know whats good around the resort.

you got to love the pools. I'm a dvc member and the villas are really awesome but the lobby of the main buildeing is soooooooooooooooo awesome w/ the water displays and bridges. Also the gyser is really awesome you got to check that out. It goes off every 30 minutes. It's also fun to go over to treasure island on the boats. Hope you have fun

Thanks for replying!!! I`m sure we`ll have a great time...

Test Track Boy... be sure to tell us about your trip when you come back, and I hope you have and awesome time :cool1:

tink3rb3ll what month r u going in?? i m going this july :D

I stayed at Wilderness Lodge Villas right after they opened up my sophomore year of high school. I absolutely LOVE the hotel!! The one thing that sucked was it was pretty far away from downtown disney and some of the other parks. But Magic Kingdom is right across the pond.

I've never stayed there, but from what I saw on the Great Hotels show they did on it, it looked really cool. :D

yeah i agree that was the only bad thing but your right there MK!

Tink3rb3ll, I'll be sure to give you a detailed trip report when I return.

It's a major bummer that is far away from other parks, espcially Epcot. You all know what I love there so much....

i've stayed at the WL many times before and loved it. I'm going to stay there for part of my spring break trip in the spring too. The hotel itself is really beautiful, especially the waterfall and geyser! In fact, there is an entire tour about the architecture and stuff that my family did once that was actually really interesting. Anyway, the pool's cool, renting the water mice is also really fun (but you have to be 16 and have a driver's license to drive them now), and the food at roaring forks is really yummy. The end. :D

Can anyone tell me what the studio villas are like at WL? My family has two in March and we've never stayed at WL before, let alone in one of the DVC rooms.
