Wilderness Lodge

Has anybody stayed there? We're staying there in December! I'm so excited! My brother's girlfriend is coming with us too. It was supposed to be a surprise for him but he found out lol yeah. Anyway, what's it like?

I've never stayed there but when we go to Orlando we usually go look at all the disney hotels and we've looked at that one a few times.Its pretty cool although all disney hotels are totally awesome anyways.

I didn't enjoy it.
I don't like how the rooms are all in the same building (I think) and it's kind of boring IMHO.

i liked it, but I stayed in a suite and I was with my best friend. I didn't really like the food court, I've stayed at better but, it was a nice hotel there is somewhat of a small pool too, but it has boat access to the MK which was cool.

i thought it was called the animal kingdom lodge any way i stayed there it was cool but it smelt like animals when you wokr up and went out there i stayed there for i think three days then went somewere eles

We have stayed at the WL many times and we looooooooooove it! It is by far our favorite resort. We have tried CR, AKL, and BC but none of these compare to the WL's atmosphere and location. We are actually trying the BWI this July. We would much rather be at the WL but got the AP for BWI and thought we would give it a try. WL has the most awesome Lobby and many places to sit and enjoy the building and grounds. Whispering Canyon is a fun place to eat and the Roaring Forks food court offers a nice variety for counter service. We (myself, DH, DD13, DS 6) love the pool and the fun current that runs through it. The boat ride to the MK or to the CR is a lot of fun, too. I don't think you'll regret your choice. You can also watch the electric water parade every night from the WL. Have a great trip!

Not a huge WL fan... I'd prefer Pop over Wl. Although anything on prop. is ok for me I guess.

There's an Animal Kingdom Lodge and a Wilderness Lodge. Two different resorts.

I love WL! The food is amazing and the cast members are so friendly. I went outside to get our free paper and ended up talking to this cast member about me being British

I absolutely love WL! in fact we're DVC members there!\ and going down this saturday!!! I love it's warm atmosphere and its cabin look. It's just amazing there. the pool is medium sized with a slide. they also have a hot tub. I haven't stayed in one of the "normal" rooms for a wile I've just stayed in the villas but from what i remember there a good size. and as someone mentioned earlier, you can see the electric water parade. i don't know. i just love it there. maybe you will too.

I stayed there only once when I was eight years old and the awesome memories still stick with me- it was that much fun!

It is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!One of my absolute favorites!!!!!!!! I stayed their just last year and going back in October. It has a huge fireplace with rocking chairs you can sit on,an indoor stream,real duckies swimming in the pool(lol seriously!).........it is just sweet!!!!! The lobby is really cool.

I'm positive you'll like it!

I have stayed at the Wilderness Lodge once. I love the atmosphre and beauty of the Lodge lobby and it's grounds. The Pool is also very nice.

i stayed there once for like 4 days. its gotta cool design and it makes you feel your in a lodge in the woods. whispering canyon restaurant was pretty good.
