Good morning,

Thinking on spending a few hours at the Boardwalk on upcoming trip and just wondered what would be the best transportation option from WL to the Boardwalk. We will not have a car at our disposal this trip, so I am going to assume our best and most efficient way to travel there would be by taxi. Has anyone done this recently, and if so could you let me know how bad the fare is?? :rotfl:

Any other travel suggestions would be welcome too. Thanks in advance.

Depending on the time of day and general traffic conditions, it will be about a $15 cab fare, plus tip.

I agree with Ducklite, that's the easiest way. If the Studios are open when you are going you could also take a bus from WL to the Studios and walk over to the Boardwalk.

If you don't want to spend the $30-40 (plus tip) R/T for a cab, you can take the boat from WL to the MK dock, go to the bus loading area to your right and take the bus to the BW. It's a little longer, but it's free.

If you return late or have a little too much "fun" at the BW to read the signs, you can always take a cab back. ;)

we're going to need to get to Beach Club from WL in Aug
After our 8nights at VWL/WL we have 6nights reserved at BCV
thinking of bus to MGM then boat to BC

If you're hauling your own luggage, then no. The busses and boats are not equipped to deal with that. Just take a cab.

If WDW is moving your luggage, then take whatever works for you.

You'll need ot be out VWL by 11, and can't check in to BWV until 4, so no rush to get anywhere. Just enjoy your day and show up later.
