Wilderness Lodge - Standard, Woods, or Courtyard ?

At the Wilderness Lodge, what are the main differences between the standard, woods, and courtyard views ? Will we get the shaft if we have standard. This is using standard $114, woods $125 and courtyard $156. Which one do you recommend?? Also, what if it was just between standard and woods?

We had a woods view and my parents had a standard view in Feb.

They overlooked the loading area for the restaurants/trash/etc. Certainly the worst view I've ever seen at a Disney resort.

We had a view of a pond and trees. We could feed ducks off our balcony. We were even the right direction to see some fireworks from the MK over the tops of the trees.

My dad wishes my mom would have splurged on the $11 a night for a woods view.

Courtyard views are pool, bay lake (where you can see it) and lobby. May be noisier.

It's really up to you as far as what you are looking for in a room vs price....
I have stayed in standard and courtyard. The courtyard view was lovely, on the second floor overlooking the main pool. The standard view IMHO was really kind of sub-standard, although I didn't put in any particular requests. We had a view of a service road, which meant trucks in and out all hours of the day, the smoke house, garbage dumpsters. On the plus side we had a view of the fireworks over the Contemporary and of the monorail thru the trees. I guess as long as you don't look down and just look straight out the view was pretty good, LOL. I believe there are standard view rooms over the lobby area that are considered to be nicer. Anyone?
If money was no object I would always pick courtyard view, however, I'd rather go more frequently and have a 'cheaper' view
