I read on Mouseplanet that there was scaffolding around the courtyard area of the Wilderness Lodge. Apparently they were doing some work there. Has anyone been there recently? Do you know if the scaffolding is still there?

We were there from Nov 28 to Dec 2, and the scaffolding was up. They were doing a lot of work, so I'd bet it still is.

The scaffolding really bothered my wife. It is a little unattractive. Then again, can we really get upset that they are doing maintenance? Not like they are going to shut down the resort....so they have to do it during somebody's vacation. OK, perhaps not over the busy Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, but someone is going to have to look at it sometime. I just figure the resort will look that much spiffier on our next trip.

I just got back on Saturday. The scaffolding is still there though it's in the corner of the courtyard. If you were standing at the geyser looking at the resort it would be the right hand corner by Roaring Forks. It stretches from ground to roof. They must be working fast, though, because the scaffolding moved in the 7 days we were there. It started out by Artist Point and kept moving to the right.

I think they'll have it done in the next few weeks.

It was still up on Tuesday, 1/12.

Still there on the 16th. It's a noisy meal outdoors at Roaring Fork with lots of pounding and drilling. Down at the pool, it's hardly anything.
