Wilderness Lodge Rooms/Fireworks

I am going to be staying at the WL in a few weeks and requested a Woods View Room non-smoking so I am assuming form the info that I've read I will be on the fifith floor. I would like to know if that is the best view to see the fireworks being that we have 2 little ones and may have a few early nights. ANy suggestions would be great! Thanks!

You may be able to see the fireworks from your balcony if you are on the MK side but some trees may be in your way. I have a "secret" spot for watching the fireworks from inside the hotel if you don't have a balcony facing MK........ Go to the 5th or 6th floor, and zig zag down the hallway going towards MK. Keep walking until you find the corner where the windows are covered with large wooden shutters. Open the shutters (don't just slide them open, pull the entire shutter open so that you get a full view of the windows without having to peek through the wooden slats). I'm saying this because we found some people peeking through the slats and when we approached them we showed them that the whole shutter came open. We were thanked for showing them. You can see the castle and all the fireworks from this spot. We had a non-smoking room on the 6th floor but the view of the fireworks from this floor is near the smoking rooms and the smoke smell was noticeable so you might want to try the 5th floor if this bothers you.
