Hooray for TIVO! I finally caught the Wilderness Lodge episode of Great Hotels (with Samantha Brown). Very nice!!

Did anyone else see the man in Whispering Canyon Cafe who asks for ketchup and then is so annoyed by the entire scene that follows? I kept rewinding it to catch his tablemates' expressions as well. You only get a good view of the woman sitting with him and she is equally annoyed. She rolls her eyes and doesn't crack a smile.

Sheesh! It was obvious that the camera was on them. You think that they wouldn't be such partty poopers!!

Just wondering if anyone else noticed?

Hentob:rolleyes

I don't have a TIVO....but I have Ultimate TV!!! So I caught it too!!
I actually thought that was the one scene that was planned...for some reason I just couldn't see the guys reaction to be realistic...I have a feeling the question and reaction was planned....

But another cute scene was when Samantha was rosting marshmellows on the camp fire..and hers were the only ones to catch one fire...and all the kids scooted away from her and her flaming marshmellows....it was cute...

I think the ketchup guy was trying for an "Emmy",personally.;) :p

DS and I watched it when it was on at noon. It was wonderful. I think that the ketchup man was acting for sure. Just as I'm sure everything was probably written. Just like when they missed the geyser in the beginning. It did make my want to be going there. However our stay next month will be a POR no way around that.

Can't wait to see the next show.

I thought he was acting at first too. I mean who would act like that on camera? Then I thought why would they portray the waiters as being so annoying. Why not have people laughing at the joke, instead of looking troubled. Weird. The lady sitting with him looks like she is angry. Not what Disney should be portraying.

The lobby of the WL looks just as amazing on camera as it does in person. The deluxe room she was in looked nice. How much is the AP discount for them? I wouldn't mind staying there.

My favorite part is when she talks about the views and says something like "There's not a bad view in the place" and I thought, "Honey, you are lucky they didn't put you in the dumpster-view room of the Villas!" I guess it's OK to fib on TV!

wow--I saw that yesterday as well :)

The fam at dinner looked so INCREDIBLY pissed off--y'all, I don't think they were acting. And I have NO IDEA why they kept that part in what was aired--I would have cut it out in a second if I were the editor; made the waiter look like a complete jerk and the couple look like creeps. Did y'all see the kids in the background of the restaraunt (probably not the same fam)--they just looked confused.

Got really frustrated with all the filler crap, like when she was walking, walking, walking down the trail. Yeah, we get the point. Show something else Disney :)

What I did enjoy though was the teeny tiny bit of the Cabins they showed--man, I can't wait can't wait can't wait!!!!
