Wilderness Lodge - good deal?

HI All,

I went to book a four day visit to WDW in Novemeber yesterday. When I called, the rep said I had a PIN attached to my name! I couldn't believe it!

I called asking about POR, but once I heard PIN I said, can you check the Wilderness Lodge??

So, I got a Courtyard View for Four Nights and 2 Days of Tickets for $1400.00 - that is for Three of Us, because our 2 yr old is Free.

Is that a fair deal? Or should I have stuck with POR for 1050.00.

Port orleans with one day tickets would have been 847.28.
I can still change, so any input would be appreciated!

you didn't give full info so kind of hard to stay. Is it 2 adults 1 child(age 3-9) 1 child (age 2)? Wilderness lodge is at regular season rates in november until the 24th then drops to value season rates so what are your dates? What kind of tickets are you getting - hoppers, wp? You also didn't say if you are including trip insurance which I wont be.

Rack rate for 4 nights, 2 day base tickets, 2 adults, 1 child (age 3-9), 1 child (age 2), Wilderness lodge, Courtyard view arriving before November 25th is 1841.76.

Rack rate as above but arriving November 25th or after is 1522.

So you can use that information to compare for your savings....if you have 3 adults or more expensive tickets or trip insurance then your savings is that much greater.

Same thing at POR except with standard view (you didnt list a view), before 11/25 = 1144.32
11/25 and after = 1054.32

2 Day Park Hoppers
4 Nights Courtyard View
No Insurance

We are paying $1400 - good deal, but not as great as I had hoped!!

I called today to check on POFQ, but it was not available with the Pin, so we are sticking with WL.

Since it looks like you have not stayed at WL, I just want to say you will LOVE it.

We were going to stay at WL but they offered us BWV so we decided to try an Epcot resort - I'm having cold feet because I love WL so much.
