WL vets and visitors of the like, can you please tell me where your favorite standard room locations are.

I don't really think I will care as long as I am in Disney, but December will be my first visit there and I am really curious.

TIA!! :goodvibes

We were in standard room 6056 last June. It was great -perfect view of MK Wishes at night and high enough, that noise from the service area didn't bother us.

vatchr, Thank you! Can you please tell me where this room is located in relation to the lobby/front desk?

It was a good hike from the front lobby, but the back elevators were pretty close and they opened up very close to Roaring Forks and also the back entrance by the pool. I enjoyed the walk, though, from the front lobby elevators, with the music and the atmosphere. Unless we were rushed, it was great! The view of Wishes was worth it!

Good Luck! We are heading back in June, and are hoping for the same room area again.

I believe our room number was 4041. It was Courtyard view (nice upgrade) directly over Artist Point. In fact, to the left, outside our door, was a wall with a small window. That window looked down into the restaurant. Very quiet, very nice view. Great room all around.

We were there this December and had rooms 5018 and 5020 - woods view. Great for watching Wishes at night. We had a little retention pond below us and the kids would feed the ducks. We could also see a little bit of Bay Lake and a little bit of the Electrical Water Pageant. Great rooms. In relation to the lobby we went to the back elevators to the left side if looking toward Bay Lake direction.

We were there last month and stayed in 4094. This room was right above the check in desk. We loved the location. It was so nice to open your door and be overlooking the massive beautiful lobby. The Christmas decorations were up and often they had special choirs and handbell choirs performing in the lobby below. We also had rocking chairs right outside our door so we could sit and relax and look over into everything below. They also had seating areas at both ends of the floor (over the bridge and over the main entry doors) with a fireplace. We enjoyed sitting there too. We also had access to a balcony on each end of the main floor. One overlooked the pool and one overlooked the front pull up area to check in. Our balcony off of our room didnt have a great view, but we enjoyed the other things much more.

We staying at Wilderness Lodge (first time) in March and due to some challenges on our last trip have special reservation assistance. They told us to call the hotel (a special number) 10 days prior to our arrival and let them know our preferences, etc. I am a Yacht Club girl so this will be a new property for me ... but traveling that time of the year and needing three rooms we opted for AP rate at WL instead of YC.

I, too, am very interested in preferences in regards to rooms - good, bad and indifferent. Thanks to those that have responded.
