If anyone has stayed at the Wilderness Lodge Concerge could you please tell me what you thought of it. I'm going next week and don't know whether I should split WL w/Polynesian. Also would like to know what someone thinks of Polynesian Concerge.

Thank You,
Jackie

I like them both so I can't say one is better than the other. I do like Poly alot for the fact you can see the castle from the lounge. WL doesn't have a lounge but it is still real nice. I wish I could tell you one was better then the other but all the people working in both concierges were friendly and very accomidating :D

We stayed at WL concierge about 2 years ago, and it was our first concierge experience. We couldn't have been more pleased. One complaint that people have had about WL concierge is that there is no lounge. The food and tables to sit down at are spread out in the atrium on the 7th floor. We thought it was pretty cool to look down on the lobby (which is beautiful) while we had our breakfast or snacks. The service was great, the staff was so nice. The turndown service was such a nice luxury, and our son enjoyed his chocolates every night. Every day Mousekeeping would do an arrangement with towels and his stuffed animals. The food selections were wonderful, too. There was your standard breakfast things, midday snacks were fruit, pretzels, gummy candies, juices, water, pop. At dinner time, there was a soup and at least one entree from Artist Point. At night, there were cordials, wine and dessert selections. Hope that helps. I'm looking forward to hearing about other DISers experiences at Poly concierge since that is where we're staying next.

We stayed Polynesian Concierge in 2002 - it was our first concierge experience and we just loved it!!! Heaven - the staff was wonderful, the food offerings were great and the lounge couldn't be beat!
In January we stayed Wilderness Concierge (we upgraded at check in so I am not sure about the preplanning) and we enjoyed that as well. The staff was really great and although there is no lounge like at the Polynesian (my husband was dying to watch the Patriots playoff game, but alas no lounge w/a tv!) it was fun to sit at the tables on the 7th floor and look down at the lodge activity.
We enjoyed both a great deal and are trying to decide between the two to spend a few days after our Disney Cruise in January! I say try both and have the best of both worlds!

I can't help you since I have never stayed in either, but we have booked Poly concierge for our stay in June. I have a question, thought, how do they restrict access to the concierge offerings at the WL if there is no lounge? Is there a separate elevator?

WL lounge is restricted by the elevators. To reach the 7th floor you need to use the elevator and you have to use your room key to get the elevator to go to the 7th floor. HTH! :smooth:
