What is the wild Africa trek? I thought only guests staying at AKL could do that? how do you book it and is it worth the money?

The Wild Africa Trek is at AK. I think you're thinking of the Sunrise Safari or the Wanyama at AKL which is exclusive to AKL and/or CL guests.

The WAT began in 2011 and has gotten rave reviews on AllEars. It's rather costly, but
currently they are taking $50 off bookings that are after 11:45.

Hi everyone- Just booked WL CL for Dec 20 to 27th. Very excited about this stay but a little worried about the room size. We stayed at WL years ago but have since become DVC members so normally stay in a one bedroom. We stayed at the Poly in March and loved the lounge and the room size.

Any tips and tricks for storage at WL. Is there a closet? Can you store luggage under the bed? Just worried that with all our stuff, a small Xmas tree (two daughters HA) we will feel a little cramped. I just into the deluxe rooms but no AP rates for our time at the lodge.

Also- any good requests for a CL room. We would prefer a view of the lake but are they farther from the lounge. I think I read there are not many.

We are a family of four and found the room size and storage to be fine. The closet is ample space and the drawers provided were enough to unload all of our stuff. There are also a couple of small drawers above the fridge. The regular queen size beds had a solid base, so you can't put anything under them, but we had bunk beds in our room and we could put stuff under there.

I'm not sure about rooms with a lake view. We had room 7042 which gave us a great view of Cinderella Castle, it was awesome! It was also on the end of a hallway so no one on both sides of us. Very quiet.

You are going to LOVE WL CL, especially during Christmas time . The lounge has great food offerings and the CMs are awesome . We are a family of 4 and we have found storage to be fine at the WL (and we have stayed at the Poly and GF where the rooms are quite a bit larger). As the pp said, there is no storage room under the beds as they are boxed out, but I think there's plenty of space with the dresser/chest and closet .

Bunk beds are not a booking category for CL, so that would have to be requested .
