It takes about 5 minutes to just clear the water bridge area, so I think around 15 minutes is more accurate. Also, how well guest load and unload can play a part in the cycle time too. ECV loading and unloading can also add additional time as the boat and dock do not always align even during specific times of the year. Park closing also causes a surge of demand on the cruiser and launch that can have guest waiting for an extended period of time. In these cases it does pay to glance over at the WL bus stop to see what the demand on it may be as it may be the better choice at that time.

Overall if you get to the dock just as it is pulling away or the boats just keep filling up as you are waiting in line you should figure the other boat is leaving the opposite dock and it will take it 15-20 minutes to arrive and unload.

I agree the bus is the best kept secret!!! It's round trip 10 min, direct & almost never crowded. If you need to get to the park early, the buses start before the direct boat (the one to CR & FW starts earlier). The boat is great too. We usually took the bus in the AM because it was faster & boat back in the afternoon. Never waited for either more than 5 min.
