:thumbsup2 Wendy: Good feeling on paying off the cruise. I just paid off mine on friday. :woohoo: Actually we are planning on a Palo brunch. My sister will be making the ressie's as she is a castaway member. I told her any day. So we will see what we get.

I honsetly dont think Kathy is missing us.....I do belive that she is thinking about us and laughing as we are slaving away here, while she is having a grand time. :rotfl2: At least I would be doing that.!! :rolleyes1

Have a great evening everyone.

Denise

I love the new thread name. It's so, shall I dare say.... "a-peel-ing!"

(I heard that groaning!)

Can't wait to call the travel agent today to tell her to swipe my card! So exciting! All I have to do is get our room for the Sat. night we come back and we are (as they say in the Taco Bell commercials) "Good To Go."

Tigger Family - Beautiful pics from the baptism. Good luck with those "toofers." My kids didn't get their teeth until they were 12 and 14 months old so they didn't take it "as hard." That carrot sounds like a good idea though.

RUNA - Where the heck are ya? When's the Irish Festival?

Gorgeous weather today in the Northeast...hope everyone can get out a bit and enjoy.

:sunny: Good Wednesday morning fellow Turkey cruisers:

Well I dont have to start work until a little later this morning. So was able to "sleep in". Got to bed later as my DD came in around 10:30 last night. While she unpacked her car, I had to keep an eye on our dogs. I have to say, that my dog was happy to see his "cousin" and they were running around and playing two minutes after she got here. I just hope this last's as I have custody of her dog until she gets back from Iraq. So next year around this time. Keeping my fingers crossed that I dont have any major problems between the two dogs. :sad2: But I was happy to see my daughter, I havent seen her since Christmas.

Well I should start getting ready for work. Yuk  Have a great day, I'll be back on this evening........yes that is a threat!!! :rotfl2:

Denise

Well, this is starting to sound like a broken record, but we are headed for a high of 95 with a heat index of at least 101 today! I really do dislike summers in the south, as much as I love the other three seasons. I really long for the day when I become independently wealthy and can summer in Canada, and spend the rest of the months in the south!

I hope that everyone is having a great week. Not too bad here at work for the rest of the week, just chugging along.

I am actually off today since I have to work the weekend. So I am taking DS and his friend adam out to lunch and to the movies sort of a last day off fun
before school starts on Monday.

Denise enjoy your time with your daughter :grouphug:

Tiggerking, I feel your pain its 830 am here and already 88 its going to be a hot one glad we will be in the AC at the show.

Have a grreat Wednesday NanaHeads the time is getting closer

Wendy :hourglass

Hey, what happened to our counters? Those that are not from TickerFactory.com aren't working. Now I don't know when my cruise is...

Ahh...I just looked at ***************.com and it said the account had been suspended due to overuse! I guess us DISers blew their bandwidth out of the water. Well, it is back to TickerFactory, then! :rolleyes1

It was 52 degrees this morning when I left for work at 5:30... even now it is only 59. (welcome fall?)
I'm not going to complain though. I LOVE fall. (our cruise is in the "fall")
:hourglass

Oh, Cruisemutt, you may want to make copies of your beautiful art for people to take so they leave your door signs alone.... Even if you personalize the heck out of them, people may still take them because the picutres are so very awesome.

Hey Bob....maybe its too many dancing nanas fouling up the board...and worry not, we'll tell you when to make your way to Port Canaveral--I have a feeling a few people have it written down somewhere (mines in 6" letters on a dry erase board where the whole shop can see it...oh, yeah, and theres a big "nyah-nyah-nyah, we're going and YOU'RE NOT" next to the countdown number.

Stay cool, my friend,....summers almost over (sorry, DW....but it is). :sunny:

Have a good time Wendy....what are you goin to see?

Enjoy....
da mutt

Athene,
you are not supposed to warn da mutt we were gonna steal those door signs, now he'll be on the lookout for us :rotfl2:

Mutt, being the GREAT mo that I am I will sacrafice my afternoon off to sit through The Ballard Of Ricky Bobby. Its not a love story I'm guessing.

We are off for sushi and a movie

Hello My Fellow Banana Heads   ,
Well today DS is throwing up and just sleeping all day just not himself :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: so we are off to the Doctor's for our 1st sick visit. I am a nervous mother :worried: :worried: !! Well let me go because he is crying and just want to be held!!
Talk to you tomorrow!!
Lynn princess:

Mutt, as long as someone notifies me at least the day before, I can be there on time. You know us men, we can pack for a month in 30 minutes. And, no, that is not a stretch. I packed for a one month business trip to Europe in 30 minutes. I received notice of the trip on Wed., when I was in Detroit, had to return to Atlanta on Thursday, close on a house on Friday, and fly on Saturday! Now THAT was a stressful three days!

Plus, I am sure that DW will not let me forget when it is!

Athene: You are making me VERY jealous with your weather reports. Those are prime temps for me when I am at home! I don't wish for them on our cruise, but they would be nice right now!

I want to know how you men pack like that? I have to plan for weeks, have different lists for different trips, my husband can be ready in like 10 minutes for a weekend away from the house. Me, I do that and i forget to pack like underware or something. Its not just fair.

Speaking of packing (WOMEN) what is the one thing that you could NOT live without on the cruise? ( :difficulty: not saying HUSBAND or significant other) Me, it is the over the door shoe hanger, I got one last minute last year because of tip I had read, I used it for everything. No clutter, no crap laying everywhere in the cabin, so shampoo bottles being left in the tub, nothing. It was great. Its actually in the suitcase waiting to go this year.

Have a great Wednesday, we have soccer this evening with 98 degree weather, should be interesting.

Hello NanaHeads

Oh now, Tonya ... the only thing I couldn't live without on my cruise would be my DH!! Oh, no, wait. Now that I think about it, I could probably do the cruise without him and not have too many problems. So I'm stumped by your question. :rotfl2: I'M JUST KIDDING, PEOPLE!!!!

Linda: I try to read that blog a few times per week. He's a great writer, isn't he?

I wish I was with Wendy today ... Sushi and a movie!

For those that have pondered, I don't even think Kathy remembers who we are at this point! :rotfl:

We have cooled down quite a bit as well. Had to pull the heavy comforter up on us (and, of course, on Guido who sleeps between us ... spoiled rotten dog!) last night just to stay warm. Awesome sleeping weather!!!

Good morning everyone!

We've been pretty busy over the past few days. We spent Friday and Saturday with DH's brother & wife who were visiting from TN. :cool1:
Work has been hectic (I should be working right now, but I was having major       withdrawals!). I guess busy is good, so I shouldn't complain too much. :confused3

Yesterday, I had to take DD to get her booster shots for Kindergarten; then off to the county fair for Kids' Day (cheaper rides :thumbsup2 ). It ended up being pretty hot. :sunny:
Today DD is feeling a bit sore from the tetanus shot so I get to work from home today. :cheer2: (Poor DH is on his own in the office.)

Love the new thread title!  17 days till we can make ressies! :goodvibes
Pictures / door signs, etc. are all great. Mutt -- what's your price? (For the door signs, not your "personal" ad! :rotfl: )

Better get back to work! Have a great day everyone. :grouphug:

Cheri :yay:  :yay:

Awwww....poor, poor Mutt! I thought the kind of abuse your wife is dishing out is just part of being married. At least that is what I tell myself!

They say married people live longer than single people, but it isn't true, it just seems that way! :rotfl2:

:rolleyes1 I'm back!!!! i was busy at work (70 hours this week and its only thursday!) and also camping (we have a permanent site and trailer). i should be at work right now however i went home last night to find a dog with a big red bulls eye on her leg and was freaking out and took her to the vet today. she was bit by a tick no big deal but has medicine and all so she's spending all of my cruise money! (i guess she is getting me back because she wont be with us) so i have another double tomorrow and am off the weekend. going to see the lion king musical with my mom and goign to atlantic city to win big money for the cruise!

dave- remains in new york (he told me canada but its new york you can just see canada i guess from his housse) with his parents on a family vacation. i opted to stay home as im sure i will have my fair share of not-even-in-laws on our disney trip the week before the cruise

irish weekend- sept. 23-25 i will be an irish mess in wildwood nj.... anyone who would like to see us so they will recognize us at signals when we are disney mess' are more than willing to come!

my mom but bourbon on my gums when i was teething and look what happened to me.............

is anyone ordering baskets from shirley...im not sure what to do for dave b/c i think i might get baskets for the group when we are in wdw but i think it would be special for him, any ideas...............

A four pack of the Guinness cans? :drinking1

My dh Loooooves the fact that all he has to do is walk up one flight up or stairs and he's in Diversions getting his daily pint (or two or three). But, I think we may carry some onboard if we can find them near the port. I hate to see him have to work SO HARD on vacation and do steps! :goodvibes

We could see you at Irish Weekend - that weekend looks like we'll be down there. Have fun and win big in AC - we're off to Cape May County for a slice of Mack's White Pizza and some Kohr Bros.

Paid the cruise off yesterday (well - put it on our Disney Visa)  and we're now set to make those ressies. Time to do the research on the brunch and high tea. :hourglass Also those spa ressies.
