Denise,
The doors are large enough for more than one sign. So you can let him be creative and then you can design one yourself. :teeth:
Mine arn't fancy, but they came out kind of cute last time, so this time I am trying to be a little different, but I could use a couple of my old ones. Especially the pirate party one, pirate: but that would be cheating, so I will try to improve on the original. :confused3
We are very foggy this morning, it looks like a horror movie outside. Guess I will stay in this morning, at least until the fog is gone. SPOOKY !
Have a great day,
Kathy

Hi Everyone! It's been so long since I posted, but I do check the board everyday to keep up on everything! The Mutt and I were UNpleasantly surprised to wake up to SNOW this morning ... thankfully, not a lot, but just enough to put a damper on the day! Yesterday when I got home from work, he met me at the car and said I WANNA GO ON THE CRUISE NOW!!

Thought for the day: How does the guy who drives the snowplow get to work in the mornings?

Have a great day.

:goodvibes Thank you for the good wishes! We are really excited about this!
I had a feeling that when the Med cruises came out, that this would happen. I know because we were tempted to do it ourselves! :teeth:
But due to a larger family, and the money involved, we decided to experience the wonderful Eastern again, and are really looking forward to it. We are also excited to see familiar faces again from our last cruise, and of course all the new friends on this thread too.

We have done the Europe thing, and although we have not been to Spain, we have been to all the other countries visited, so we feel that besides being on the Magic, we would not be missing much. And after a long trip and flight to Japan and China, I am a little burned out on travelling right now....LOL

Sorry for babbling, just good to reassure myself all the reasons we are reluctantly passing on the Med cruise! And had to bump our thread back up to page 1 :teeth:

Does anyone know when the dates for MVMCP will come out? We are planning to attend on the Saturday that we get back from our cruise and want to amke sure it is going on then.
Wendy

Howdy everyone,
well it is beautiful here today, suppose to get to the mid 80's this afternoon. :sunny:
Today I have about 12 mini pies to make and freeze. I'd rather be crusin!!
No news from Florida today, just wanted to check in and say Howdy! :teeth:

Hope everyone has a great day :thumbsup2

Kathy

Hi Wendy,
I asked my son to see if he could find out when they will release the dates for MVMCP. He works at guest relations, so maybe he can find out when for you. I will let you know if he can find out anything.
Kathy

Thanks Kathy,
we are really looking forward to going to the party. The last time I went DS was 2 so it should be quite different.
Wendy

Hi Wendy,
Peter just sent me an e-mail and he said that his employee calendar only goes to 8/9/06, but as soon as they post it for employees I will let you know what it says for the 30th. You may have to remind me in 30 days to have him check it out again.

From past years I don't think they ever had MVMCP or MNSSHP on Saturday nights. That's one of MK's busiest evenings so it's a slim chance they will have it on a Saturday. We've been to both every year since 2002 and it has never been on a Saturday that I can remember (maybe someone can prove me wrong??).

They will probably have a party the Friday we are still on the cruise and the Sunday after. I'm making our plans to stay until Monday morning, so we can hit MVMCP on Sunday.

Happy Friday everybody! I trust that everyone has had a good week.

It has been an okay week for the business trip to Portland. One of my co-workers and I went out to a minor-league baseball game last night just to relax a little bit our last night in town.

The weather here is actually supposed to be pretty decent with a high near 70 and mostly sunny, at least until after we leave today. I am flying down to Orange County this afternoon to spend the weekend with my brother, so this should be fun. It will be a short trip, but it will be good to visit Southern Cal again and see him and his family.

Well, I am suffering from rambelitis as well, so I will hush now! Everyone have a great weekend!

Hi everyne,
I just noticed we were at the bottom of page two!!! So i thought I'd bump us up, at least for the moment.
Now I'm off to finish making 12 to 15 mini pies to freeze. Hope to go to WDW tomarrow to renew our passes and mess around at Epcot for awhile, maybe go the AMC theater there and see Ice Age, The Meltdown. Then back home.
we are still having spring breaks around here so WDW will be very busy still.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Kathy

 Well the weather here today has been blah....it actually was pretty warm earlier this morning when I let my dog out, had a funeral to go to and by the time we left from the funeral home to the cemetary the temp droped..so now its really overcast, windy and cool....looking forward to spring to spring.
Well thats just the fun of living in Illinois....

Denise

Howdy,
we just got back from Epcot. it was a great day, but it was hot. It hit 90 today. :sunny: The only down side to the entire day was we saw 6 cruise line buses taking happy people to the port and we wern't among them!!!
That is so depressing!!! :sad2:
Then we went to downtown disney to see Ice Age the Meltdown. It was really a cute show, :goodvibes we both liked it. i think I like the first one best, but I like them both.
I did manage to buy a Mrs. Potato head to add to my collection. Now they have eyes with pirate patches and captain mickey hats too. So I got eyes and captains hats for both mr and mrs potato head. Now they can pretend to have a pirates party like on the ship. pirate: Now I am going to dress up my stuffed characters in tropical and pirate attire for awhile.
Maybe that will help make the cruise seem closer. :hourglass
enjoy your weekend everyone,
Kathy

:sunny: Hi Kathy: I dont know, I guess that I'm going to have to make a decision and maybe move to Florida....it sounds like you have too much fun. I did some spring cleaning today yippy...then did some yard work. All I can say is I'm getting to old for all this. :rolleyes2 Oh well, sounds like you had a really nice day today.

We are planning on going to this on the Sunday after we return. From what I have seen, they don;t usually have it on that Saturday. We planned our return flight home (Monday) around this! I am really looking forward to it.

Hi, everyone!
Wendy---No, they don't have MVMCP on Saturdays (at least in the past) it has always been Friday and Sunday for the weekend.

We went to the Sunday, December 4th MVMCP the day right after the cruise last year, and had a great time! It was early enough in December to make it not so crowded, and being on a Sunday where there was school and work for most people kept things kinda low too. I wish we were going to the parks for a few days after this cruise too, but we have to cut it short due to minimizing costs and kids' missing school days. :teeth:

Happy Monday Everyone!

Well, I made it home from the west coast Sunday night about 9:00. I am REALLY worn out. Tough transition back to east coast time! But, it was a great weekend with my brother and his family and got to play a little golf on Saturday.

I flew out of San Diego on Sunday and we saw a Carnival cruise ship parked at the port. Made me dream even more about November. I don't want Nov. to get here too early, because that is another candle on the cake. But I do wish the cruise would get here quick! I know, I can't do one without the other.

Well, have a great week everyone!

Tiggerking,
Glad you made it back ok I hate the time change from the west to the east coast too. When we fly into Portland to visit our kids and grandkids it is great for the time change, but coming back it is so hard to adjust to a 3 hour change.

We saw so many Disney cruise line buses over the weekend, full of happy cruises!! I wish I was with them :woohoo:

If we didnt move recently we would of been on the Wonder next weekend too! Guess I will feel better once this weekend has passed and I can forget about that and think possitive for November :thumbsup2

Well, another week is gone, so we are that much closer to our cruise!!

Hope everyone has a great Monday. :bounce: Today is catch up on housework day and then to make a taco pizza for dinner. Hopefully it will be a productive monday around here. :teeth:

Take care everyone,
Kathy

This is the first draft of one of the t-shirt designs. I know that it needs to say November 25, 2006, and I will get that changed, but let me know what you think.
