Good Morning All,
Great Job on reaching 5000 before the cruise!! We did it !! DH and I have been up since 3 am because DS decided not to sleep!! He was ready to play at 3am !! Today my friend is coming over with the twins for lunch. I got all excited for the cruise because I packed up my suitcase !!! We are going to be a sight in the airport!! 4 suitcases, carry-on bag, diaper bag and a stroller !! Well off to make bottles and get DS's cereal ready for later!! Talk to you all later !!




Pat: No I did not think you were being a smart mouth at all. Everybody told us don't go crazy on gifts for Drew. Drew watches the Mickey Mouse Club and Me and Dh go around singing that silly song "Hot Dog, Hot Dog, Hot diggity Dog"!!!!

It's great you could join us!!! This is the most exciting time because we are so close and since we have made it past the 5000 post you wont have to worry about me bringing out the whip!!

Dont worry about Palos. When you first board the ship you will be able to go to one of the clubs( they will give you a paper at checking telling you where and when) and make a reservation for Palos.
They only allow a certain amounts of reservations on line. The rest are for people to make in person. That way people who dont have computers still have a fair chance to make a reservation too. Just go there ASAP!!!


I think we will easily make another 500 posts before the cruise.

WOW!! You all were super busy posting this weekend. It took me almost a half hour to catch up. My stupid computer at home is still broken...

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was super busy. Saturday we had a baby shower for my sister in law!! In too more months I will be an Auntie!

Just think... The Magic will only sail ONE more time until it sails with us on board!!!!

No cruise doc's here yet. Hopefully today!

Sarah - do you have a VCR? If so, I'll tape the Mickey Mouse Club House for you. It comes on each morning here. I could get a couple of shows taped before we leave. Let me know. I'm glad you don't have the pox at your house! Still haven't heard of anyone down this way with them.

Lynn - I reread my post and thought that maybe I sounded a bit bossy! Mothers tend to be that way sometimes! Just wanted to let you know that I didn't mean a thing by it. Glad you didn't take it that way now I'll be able to hold Drew!

Linda - are you the one staying at the Wilderness Lodge? Don't forget your scrapbook. I'd love to see it.

MARGE! So ... um ... what's it like to have DBWally as a brother-in-law?

DH also wanted to let the Dreamboats know that he does a mean rendition of 'Sweet Transvestite' from The Rocky Horror Picture Show'. I am doubtful Disney has that particular song, but DH is usually pretty willing to make an *** of himself so I think you can count him in for karaoke.

Marge! We're also from Illinois, but we're flying out of O'Hare Friday a.m. As long as there isn't a traffic jam on I-90 by Woodfield, we should be o.k. We looked at flying out of Milwaukee, but there aren't as many alternative flights in case we get some S*** on Thanksgiving.

Shell - the recipe sounds great! I should try that for one of these upcoming days when I don't want to cook.

On the 5000 posts! Sorry I wasn't there to witness it. Let's see, what was I doing? Oh, yeah -- cleaning the basement!!!

I'm soooooo excited! I get a hug from DBW!! I knew all that useless trivia would come in handy some day! (I do stand corrected, though -- I believe ALL the t-birds say that line. . .maybe not Davey (the liitle guy).)

Perhaps we ladies need to sing "Cool Rider" or "Leader of the Pack" as a tribute to DBW!

Speaking of singing -- a) where's Tiara Bob??? Getting fitted for his headwear?? I thought he'd have a comment about the name of their group -- or did I miss it?, and b) I haven't volunteered DH for any karaoke yet! Maybe the two Bills would like to sing some Alice in Chains tunes to the delight (or horror) of us females!

Well -- going to run and then get ready for work. Think I'll take off (work from home) at least two days this week so I can be more productive.

Wendy -- good job on the power shopping! Sorry I didn't get my list to you in time!

Sarah -- I know what you mean about thinking you bought something only to discover (after tearing the house apart)that wasn't the case. Good luck in your search for the same or similar thing!!

You guys have me very jealous....4 days left to work...spending time a WDW before the cruise....tomorrow is my last day off from work before the cruise...which means I will have to use the energy of "in such and such" days I will be on the Magic......working in a supermarket before Thanksgiving is no fun......anyway....good morning to all.....

What are the exact meetings on the first day of the cruise....I guess I could go back and re-read the 5000+ posts...Good Job!

I know I've probably gone over my quota..but....How the heck do you folks do door signs? . My wife bought this color on magnetic paper at Michaels and the kids are coloring their own door signs... but if i want to do something from the computer i surely can't put the paper through the printer since it is like an inch thick (ok so I'm exaggerating). Did she buy the wrong stuff? Is there no such thing as magnetic paper that will fit through computer? Do you rip off the paper part and then restick it on the magnet? HELP!!!!

Magnetic paper is available at Wal-Mart and office supply stores. it is just a little bit thicker than cardstock and designed to work with inkjet printers.

I love Rocky Horror myself, but in the south, that falls under "I don't believe I woulda told that, brother!"
