Wild by Design, Sunrise Safari, Sunset Safari

We are booked on the AKL Sunrise and Sunset Safaris this December but I see that AK also has a "Wild by Design" tour.

Is Wild by Design much different from the other two tours? Do you go to different areas of the park? Do you see any behind the scenes areas? It's an early morning tour, no?

Is Wild by Design much different from the other two tours? Do you go to different areas of the park? Do you see any behind the scenes areas? It's an early morning tour, no?

Like the name suggests, it's a tour about the design of the park (including the art and architecture). It's all done "on stage", so no behind the scenes areas. The only one that's truly a complete behind the scenes tour at AKL is the Backstage Safari Tour. It ends up with a guided trip through the Kilimanjaro on a ride vehicle, but prior to that, you visit the animal husbandry areas, food prep, go in to the back of Conservation Station and even get to visit with some animals (we visited some of the elephants, rhinos and a giraffe).

All those tours are very different from each other.

You can't hardly go wrong with any tour at Disney. Some I enjoyed more so than others. But all I have been on were interesting.
Earlier this month I was on Backstage Safari Tour. And it was great.
