Hi, we are planning a few days in Southern Cali. Debating on whether we should do 2 days at WAP, and then 2 days DL... or 3 days at DL instead... Is there much to explore at WAP that we should do 2 days? Would appreciate any feed back! Thanks.

Love DL but you can do everything easily in two days. The WAP is a wonderful experience. Definitely lots to do if you don't mind walking. I'm actually making my third trip there so I can do all the side trips, trails, lorakeet enclosure, walk down to see the big cat enclosure (understand there is just plexiglass and it looks like they can come right through.

My biggest recommendation and the reason I've not done all the extras is to do the Photo Safari tours, I know everyone's first reaction is they are expensive (until you look at Disneyworlds safari's:upsidedow ) I have been on both the 1 1/2 hour (one enclosure) and the 3 1/4 hour tour which does both sides and I have never done anything I found more magical. Fed giraffes and rhinos. You travel in a open back jeep (benches to sit) where you canmove around and take pictures right up next to the animals and where else can you pet a rhino while you are feeding it, my love though was the giraffes. They have an incredible amount of room to roam free and only approach if they chose, nothing like the zoo to me. All the money goes to a great cause as they are a breeding facility.

Love it, love it actually going back in June and again doing the Safari and even trying the Cheetah run where you watch the cheetahs being exercised, great reviews on it so what the heck if it is anything like the safari I'll have memories for a lifetime.

You'll have fun no matter which you chose but enjoy...Wish I could figure out how to attach a picture or two. My webshots address is:

Hope it works.

I've found that 1 day is enough at the WAP, it's amazing but I'd much prefer to be at DL. :)

As someone who has been to Disneyland many times--(usually for 4 days at a time), I never feel like we have 'done it all'. It always provides us with something different to see. Even if there is repetition, it is a wonderful kind of repetition!

I agree 2 days isnt enough time to really take your time and see all you want at DL. WAP is cool but can be seen in one day. I would see the WAP on a different trip and stay at DL so you have that extra day to kick around and enjoy it.
