When we book this tour is it 60 days from the date of the tour or 60 days from when we check into our resort? I had 2 different CMs tell me two different things. And what time of the day can I start booking this ...again I was told 6am and 12am. I cant keep up with all the changes:confused3 Thanks!

if this is an Enchanting Extra, this is the policy I found on the Disney Website

Q:
When can I make advance reservations for experiences at Walt Disney World Resort, such as dining reservations and available Enchanting Extras Collection experiences?
A:
Guests may make advance reservations for dining and Enchanting Extras Collection experiences (like tours and recreation).
When to Book: Dining
  • Guests with a Valid Disney Resort Hotel Reservation: Make reservations for your entire length of stay (for up to a 10-night stay) up to 60 days in advance of your arrival! This can help you enjoy streamlined vacation planning, since you can make all your reservations on the same day—rather than checking availability day after day.
  • All Other Guests: Make reservations up to 60 days in advance.
  • At approximately 6:00 AM daily, new reservation booking windows become available for select Walt Disney World restaurants.

Thanks for your reply!!!

i was trying for Up Close with Rhinos (one of the Enchanting Extras). I was able to (try to) book at 60+length of stay. I’m not convinced that it opens at 6:00 a.m. I have been able to book other EEs before that.

Please keep us posted but I would agree that midnight is the time I’ve heard these experience bookings open.

I was able to attempt to book Up Close With Rhinos after midnight on my 60 day (including a plus 3). Of course, since there wasn’t an opening, I can’t say for sure since I didn’t actually get to book anything.

I would say that’s a good sign😉

It's a great tour. Did it last July and loved it.
Both of my sons have done this tour years ago . This time its around my younger son and I are going (husband is staying home and babysitting our very old blind dog, she's a rescue )but any way, Iam surprising my son with this tour. Hopefully I can snag a time!!

Can you share any info about this tour?
We are considering this tour or Savor the Savanna.
Any thoughts would be helpful!
Thank you!
We haven’t done Savor the Savanna, so I can’t compare. You get to go on the rope bridges and high areas above the animals on the safari tour, ie hippos, alligators/crocs. You ride in a private truck through the savanna and get much closer to the animals. They even stop so you get better looks and pics. At the end, you get a fabulous snack/light meal at a covered area in the savanna. You can see the animals while you eat. The food was actually pretty filling and really good.

I’ve done both. They are very different experiences. WAT is a long walking tour with the rope bridge etc. Very cool and informative. STS is a private tour in a vehicle through the savanna. Our tour guide was phenomenal and they also had us meet with a couple of cast members who were on one of the Disney+ AK TV shows. Both tours include a meal out on the savanna in a lovely setting. I’d do both again!
