I was wondering if anyone has done and will be doing this new tour? We are going to WDW in June and had hope to do this with our kids but Disney has had two major price increases so we are not sure if it is worth it. I was just told that the price will be soon changed to $249 per person (ages 8 and up).

Thanks

A friend of mine just did that. I asked him about it and he said it was worth the price they are currently offering. He said if it were higher to him it would not be worth it.

$249 seems awfully steep for a 3 hour tour that requires park admission. $129 was reasonable, and I thought relatively cheap. I expected to see it rise, but not so much so quick.

We were thinking about it for October, but not at nearly double its introductory pricing. Even with a DVC or AP discount (if they offer it), I'm not sure I'd do it.

I'm booked for February 25 (at $129). The price seemed like a bargain to me.

Dh and I just came home last night and did the trek as the second group on Sun the 16th. We loved it. I plan on doing a trip report early next week and will post pictures in the DVC misc board. (Have to work this weekend).
Not sure I would pay $249pp for it though. Our guides said it was booking up very quickly and that they expected the prices to go up. I'll give a longer review next week and include pictures. Sorry, very under the weather tonight and sad that I'm back in the frozen tundra, otherwise I'd give a more detailed report now.

Looking forward to your report!!!!

DH and I are booked for 1/30 as part of my 60th celebration. I too will report back afterwards.

I think I'd like this tour minus the bridge with the slats and the holes to see through to the ground. For those of us afraid of heights, that bridge is a deal breaker.

Scheduled to go solo on the tour on 2/9. Looking forward to it at $129. When they first started talking about it last year I was expecting a price point around $300 so I would have paid the higher price too.

We are going next Saturday. I can justify $129, not so sure about the higher price with DD11 and DS13 being charged adult prices (on everything not just this!) I will let you know after we return. Cross your fingers for good weather!!!

We're scheduled in a couple of weeks, too. The CSR when I booked it told me it would be increasing to $189 soon. (That seems more appropriate than $249.)
