I have a Wild Africa Trek booked for 11:45. On the same day, I have a Tiffins ROL package at 4:45.

I just realized that I could be eating too much.

Is the food always served after the trek? If so, that means I would get the food around 2 or 2:30, then would only have a couple of hours to eating again.

I saw the list of foods for the trek and they sound wonderful, but are they only tasting portions? The tour description says they are "snacks." Does the trek food seem like a meal, or more like snacks?

Just trying to decide whether I want to keep the ROL package or try to rearrange plans and book it for another day.

I did the 11:45 tour on Saturday. Picture above. You eat earlier than 2 pm. For me, the food replaced a meal. Each of the 6 mini-tins is a tasting portion, though.

Thanks! That food looks great. Maybe if I have light breakfast and this for lunch, then I will be hungry about three hours after eating this . . .

Don't want to overfill, but after looking at my very busy schedule, I don't think I have another night I can do Tiffins and the ROL package on this trip. Really hoping to do both the Trek and the package.

When we did the Trek it was at 8:30am (before park opened). The food was amazing, one of the best meals I've ever had, anywhere. The Trek is awesome BTW you will love it.

I've heard so many great things about it. So looking forward to it. I'm trying for a later ROL package so the eating is not so close together.

We did the Trek Last June in the afternoon. The food was delicious. Even my picky son enjoyed it. I will say that it rained right after we crossed the rope bridges. They had ponchos for everyone and the tour continued on. Some of the animals scattered, but as soon as the rain ended they were out and more active than I had ever seen them. The animals were running and chasing each other, and some were even ramming their heads with each other. The tour guides were fantastic. They will take tons of pictures also of your group. Enjoy the tour!!

The food was a lunch for us, and we liked it. That was 2 years ago, though.

I'm sure it would be enough for lunch for me, too. Just hoping I am still hungry a couple to three hours later. The ROL Tiffins package is an enormous amount of food for me, but I am excited to try it.

Can't wait to do the Trek. Been thinking about doing it for years.

It's not at the end of tour, I'd guess about 1.5 hours in and we spent about 45 minutes there and then another 45 minutes touring the savanna after. They are really just tastings of each. They have the great juice that they serve at the Boma breakfast.

Oh yay! That Boma juice is the best juice ever! You think they serve it with lunch as well as with breakfast? I read that the food offerings vary a bit in the times before noon and the times after.

And good to hear about the times. I really want to be hungry for Tiffins. It would stink to pay that much for a meal and not be able to enjoy it because I was already full.

I was just looking at the WAT menu again and I am sorry I will miss the breakfast offering of fig cake with Boursin cheese. That sounds amazing. Does anyone know if there is anywhere else on Disney property I can get this? I don't recall ever having seen it on any menu, and I don't think they had it at Boma or Tusker House in the times I have eaten there.

I am a terrible picky eater, and ate the flower. And the bread or cracker thing. But, I have a problem with eating different foods. (different to me I mean). But, I always expect to have problems like that. I LOVED the Trek, will never ever forget it, would love to do it again someday.

We had the 11:45 tour Jan. 2016 and it was more for breakfast. I heard evening tours food is different. My Daughter who was 9 at the time had something different from mines. Hers was geared more for kids. Either way we had reservation for Tusker house at 5pm and we hungry by that time.

Good to hear you were ready to eat again by five. I love to try new foods, so I imagine I will eat everything.
