Following on from my earlier thread we are considering using one of our 'hopper plus' days at Disneys Wide World of Sports. We will be visiting in late February.

Has anyone been to WWofS at this time of year. If so is it worth a trip and what do they have to see there. I have heard that the Atlanta Braves train there in the winter/spring months but am not sure if going to see a game would be included in the 'plus' tickets.

Any info would be appreciated.

You would have to pay extra to watch a game I'm reasonable sure. I would check with the WWoS to see if there is anything on that you would find particularly interesting, but IMHO you'd get more entertainment from a day at one of the waterparks.

Went to the wide world of sport in June (twice!) and didn't have to show a pass at all. Ray's games are quite cheap ($8 I seem to remember) and brilliant fun if you're into that sort of thing.

First game ended due to rain (did it ever!!) so a 'rematch' followed and entry was free for the 'resumed' game showing the first tickets.

Don't know how much it would be for the Braves but suspect quite a lot more as they are very popular.

Given that it doesn't use anything from your pass I'd say go for it!
