My DD 17 and I will be at WDW in late August. Is there anything at WWoS worth seeing or doing???

There is usually lots of stuff happening there but if you are not directly involved in it there isn't really much to do. On the plus side it doesn't cost anything to look around at the facilities.

There is an admission fee to get into the complex, but I don't remember what it is. We had UPH, so it didn't matter to us. I don't believe that there is anything there worth seeing. Unless you are going for a specific event, I wouldn't waste the time.

There is no admission when there is nothing going on.

We got to walk through the complex for free since the place was empty. There were only a handful of people walking around.

FWIW The rest rooms in the stadium were unusually nice for a stadium. Even the first sheet in the paper towel dispenser had folded corners!!!

Why did we go there in the first place? To finish our pressed penny collection :bounce: but the machine was broken:(

Check out the schedule and see if anything is going on that interests you. A highlight of DS and DH's trip was going to an O'rays game. Ken Griffey Sr. sat a couple rows behind us too.
DH and DS like to go and get something from the gift shops and we have our own car. DD did not seem to mind going either. Our seasonal passes got us into O'ray games free. It is a beautiful complex.

We only went there once and it was to see a pre-season Braves game. I liked the place well enough. We had a great lunch at the All Star Cafe. If you want more info on the WWoS, I suggest you take a look at this..... http://wdwig.com/wwos.htm because it gives an overview of the area and a schedule of events. I hope this helps. Mickey

and we have our own car

If you becoming convinced to go there, and you DON'T have a car,(as has been mentioned by Tyler), bus service to WWOS is ONLY from MGM. And bus service stops PORMPTLY at 8:00 PM to the WWOS, even if anything is going on.
