What is the latest on the WWoS transportation options? We're planning on catching a spring training game on our March trip, and I'm getting conflicting information. A search of this forum turned up POP, CBR and All-Stars as the only bus routes, but Disney's site says there is a bus from DHS as well? Which is accurate? :confused3

I've read that the buses at Pop run every half hour, is there a schedule to that? Like top & middle of the hour or something?

Also, does anyone know about how much cab fare is from a MK area resort to WWoS?

I have seen that misinformation on the Disney web site. I am amazed at how much misinformation related to transportation that you can find on Disney's own site.

As far as your question: There are only two WWoS bus routes. One that serves the AS resorts and one that goes to POP and CBR. The same bus runs continuosly all day doing the same route and run on a half hour schedule. The buses will leave WWos on the hour and half hour meaning that they will arrive at pop at about 6 or 7 minutes later and then go to CBR.

If you plan on taking the bus be at the bus stop no later than 5 or 35 minutes after the hour.

This last spring there were major problems with the buses for some games. I actually saw many guests give up and start walking down Victory Way to the stadium. This was due to traffic issues at WWoS and the high guest demand during a short period of time. Disney was uncharacteristacally unprepared but knowing Disney, they are making every effort to avoid this problem again this year. If I was you I would plan on going to the game very early. There is plenty of things to do before the game plus you get to see batting practice.

Below is a reprint from an official WDW website. I believe it to be correct. Also note the info in red.

Direct service from All-Star Sports, All-Star Music and All-Star Movies to/from the Sports Complex every 30 minutes

Direct service from Pop Century and Caribbean Beach Resorts to/from the Sports Complex every 30 minutes

Departs the Sports Complex on the hour and half hour.

The operating hours on this route will vary day to day and are based on events at the Sports Complex.

The pick-up and drop off locations at the Resorts are as follows:
All-Star Resorts - shares with Disney's Hollywood Studios bus stop
Caribbean Beach - The Customs House
Pop Century - Sports Complex Bus Stop

Thank you both, that was exactly what I was looking for. We're staying at Pop, so if we just sleep in and hang out at the resort catching the bus won't be a problem. If we go elsewhere for the morning we can always just call a cab.

Magicbus, I saw that on the WWoS page too, but then through the main DisneyWorld.com WWoS link (http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/destinations/wide-world-of-sports/transportation/) it still lists the DHS bus. Thank goodness I found the DIS back when I was planning our first trip, because getting accurate information directly from Disney seems to be a crapshoot.

I can confirm that the bus runs from POP to WWoS. I was there Oct 1-3 and the bus was running. It is a very short trip.

There still isn't a permanent sign at Pop; there's a portable sign, but they sometimes forget to put it out. The EWWS (ESPN Wide World of Sports) stop is the one closest to the lobby; the permanent sign just says "Bus Only."
