Wide World of Sports Bus?

It depends. Are you talking about event buses or Disney transport? For event buses, it's usually in the parking lot, and your driver should know ahead of time which one. For Disney transport, it's in the drop off turnaround just beyond the walkway leaving the complex at the foot of the stairs. There's signs there and benches to sit on

I will be there for a large softball tournament... I don't know if they offer busses for that or not. But if the regular transport gets me there, I can just walk to the fields... right?

Yes, absolutely.

If you'll be taking Disney Transport, service to ESPN Wide World of Sports (EWWS) is from 3 resorts only: Pop, CBR, and all 3 All-Stars (I count those as 1). Pop & the All-Stars have central bus stops, which are used by the park buses and the EWWS. CBR has 7 bus stops around the resort used by the park buses, but the EWWS bus doesn't stop there; it stops only at the Custom House, which is the check-in area. You would need to walk or take the internal shuttle bus from your room to the Custom House.

The buses run every 30 minutes, and only when something is going on at EWWS (a large softball tournament would do it.)

Event buses are chartered by the event organizers, and usually run only to the designated host resorts. Info would be available on the event's web site or registration materials.
