Wide feet? What are you favorite shoes/sandals for the park?

Another vote for Tevas. I've had a leather pair for 15 years and have been to WDW and DL with them many times. I have to replace them this year and have not been able to find their equal. I have a pair of Abeo leather sandals ordered. Hopefully they will work just as well. I know others love Ecco sandals, too.

Sanuks saved my life the last time I went to DL. I was unable to find comfortable shoes prior to the trip, and I was in pain pretty early on. I hobbled into the Sanuk store at DT Disney and tried on a pair w/ a soft fabric upper. It saved my feet and my trip. I had never heard of the brand before then, and they are now my favorite shoes.

Big five stores sell a Coleman brand that works for me at 300 pounds....the beauty of sandals, that as the leader of the group it slows me down, instead of being motivated by athletic shoes and the lack of support that a sandal provides. so lots of rides on the train.

WDWer here... I've always had great luck in my Orthaheels (now Vionics). Great support and super comfortable, though I would recommend spending at least a week breaking them in prior to your trip. They're nice and wide too. www.vionicshoes.com.

Sierra Trading Post has great online deals. You can't try them on that way, but it might be worth taking a chance for the discount. I just got a pair of Tevas after reading this thread for $25 including tax and shipping using an extra 35% coupon code.
Which ones did you get so cheap? I was just looking and most of them are over $50!

I like this thread too! I usually wear tennis shoes (are they still called that?) but my feet get to hot. I've worn Teva's the last few times if the weather is good but always looking for nice comfortable sandals!

I got the Teva Numa Print ones. They were originally $50, through Sierra Trading Post they were reduced to $29. Then I used the additional 35% off, making them $19 (tax and shipping made them around $26). They have a lot of different brands so I just browsed until I found something I liked.

Sanuks are the most comfortable shoes! You don't even need to break them in. You can buy them in the Downtown Disney store and wear them right away. The pair I got last time are like t-shirt material on the inside and no seams so they don't rub at all! I think we're going to make a new tradition of it!

Another Sanuks fan here too! I brought those and my well worn New Balance sneakers and by the end of the week I was pretty much in the Sanuks 100% of the time. 25-30k steps a day and no pain, blisters or discomfort. Plus they are the most comfortable flip flops I've ever owned and one of the few brands that I feel fit my wide feet without making me feel like I'm spilling over the sides.
