Wi-Fi iPhone at CBR - how soon on arrival will it work?

Hi there

Our party will be arriving at CBR separately and we are hoping to call iPhone to iPhone to say we are there to save the UK call charges on mobiles. I know this can be done once the wi-fi is activated - but how soon after arriving on property is an iPhone normally able to connect to the resort wi-fi?

Do we need to check-in first and get some kind of code, or will, the minute your iPhone is in range, it pick it up and automatically connect?

Yes you can, no password required. However, I've heard reviews that the service can be a bit spotty.

December 2012: Complimentary Wi-Fi service is now available at all Walt Disney World Resorts, the 4 major theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios), and Downtown Disney.
Guests with wireless-enabled devices (using AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and MetroPCS) can now connect to the complimentary network by locating the network (Disney - Guest), selecting to connect and then accepting the terms and conditions. Once connected, you'll be connected to the network in locations where the Wi-Fi network is available. If you've already connected the device to the Disney Wi-Fi network at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel public space, you will not be prompted to accept the terms and conditions again.

No code needed. As soon as your iPhone sees the wifi simply login, it's just an agreement screen no password or username, and you are good to go. No waiting at all. Oh, and pp is not really accurate. The system does have login timeouts and you will be asked to agree at various times. No big deal, 15 seconds on you are good to go again.

You're very welcome. Just don't forget to turn off your cellular so you are ONLY using the wifi signal. Man that would be a HUGE bill!
