We use a D-Link Pocket Router when we are there. It works perfectly to give us wireless for our itouch right in the room. And, it is secured, as you can set the SSID and password.

This item can also be used as a wireless adapter for the xbox 360 so can be multi-purpose. Here's a link to the item; some stores (online, etc.) still carry it, or, you can look for it on eBay.

I would set it up first from home using a computer with wireless connection, that is how you do the initial setup but don't do it too far in advance in case it 'forgets' your settings... Maybe a day or two ahead. Ours has stored our settings for a long time, but the odd time we suddenly find we are back at default if it had been stored too long. You can still use the device if it is set to default, BUT then so can your Hojo neighbors if you do not set the security on it.

It's better yet if you can bring along your laptop or netbook if you have one, in case you need to set up the portable router from your room. Let me know if you have any questions about it. It's a perfect device, and works so well, we've used it on a couple of our trips.
Edited to add: Sheesh!! I'm no help! Looks like you're leaving in a couple of days. You won't likely have time to find one of these before then. Have a great trip!!
