Here now at HHI. Why don’t DVC properties have Dis Plus on the darn TVs??? Such crappy tv choices. Also there’s no way to get any sports (we tried logging onto NFL package) a location error comes up … off to the bar we go! Seems like a list opportunity for Disney to get people to sample Plus.

They want you to use the casting feature on your ipad/phone, etc. to cast to the TV. That's what we do when we want to put a movie on for the kiddos. It does suck that they lockdown some apps from casting to their system. They block YouTube and we love watching previews of rides and resorts when we are relaxing. Being able to show our little one some ride previews has been key to helping her gain confidence to go on the "big kid" rides over the years.

After realizing that they blocked Youtube, I have started packing an HDMI cord. I usually have my laptop with me, so we can watch whatever we want.

Lucky for us my DH had an hdmi cord. I couldn’t cast to the tv from my laptop. Oh the little things . Also heard that a lot of the refurbishmeats is kicking into high gear building 19 is totally out of commission.

When you are in your room, you ain't spending money.
No, but if you do come back to the room, say on an evening you weren’t in a park, and decided to check out Disney+ and watched, say, an episode or two of Ahsoka (you won’t have time to watch all episodes), or maybe Andor, you might just be compelled to subscribe when you get home, even just to finish the series, and it’s at least an additional “touch” that might land a sale (subscription).

I didn't think of that...seems like it would be decent advertising for the service...or at least give you the option to sign in? Weird considering it's their own platform.

Likely a product of corporate silos. D+ didn't offer DVC (or Dis lodging properties) and Dis Lodging isn't going to ask D+.

True, but it’s one thing for a healthy and profitable Parks division to find little incentive to offer discounted tickets or passes to DVC when they aren’t hurting for guests, versus a Streaming division that is literally bleeding money and losing subscribers on biblical levels.

D+ doesn’t need, nor would they likely expect, a quid pro quo from anyone, they need a lifeline.
