Why was Mythos closed 6/1/05?

Went to IOA on June 1 and Mythos was closed. I was reallly disappointed because I was eager to try it since it gets such good reveiws here. Does anyone know how long it will be closed for and why it was closed? We are returning in August and would like to try it then if it is open.

What time did you go? I went and ate there last Sunday with no problem.

They were open until 5:00 PM that day

Sometimes, Mythos closes at 3:00 PM. Did you try to go after 3:00?

I think it was after 3PM. Thanks for the heads-up! Will try again in August.

MYthos and Lombards Landing (at USF) sometimes close for "private functions".


We were at Mythos for dinner on 6/9/05, and the lastest time they would take our reservation was 4:45. During our dinner, we watched them set up buffet tables, floral centerpieces, and a wine table for a private party afterwards.

We had reservations at Lombards Landing on 6/8/05, but they were bumped and the restaurant was closed that night.

There was a huge IT convention while we were there, and I think some groups rented out the restaurants for their dinners.
