is it so hard.

Im tring to get Disney Movie like Snow white and Sleeping Beauty, like to older movies. I m tring to start a Disney Video collection. but the way Disney does there movies it is hard to do. And none of the video clubs have any and on ebay you pay a lot. and the Disney Video club only has Dumbo and the recent cartoons.

Disney only makes their classic movies (Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, etc.) available for a short time every few years. The thought is that this increases the value of the film because it keeps the demand high.

You are probably stuck looking on either Ebay or their subsidiary half.com for used copies. With as much financial troubles that Disney is facing, there have been rumors that they may abandon the concept of limited releases and make the entire catalog of classic films available all the time. Of course, this is only a rumor.

And if you're looking for DVD, Sleeping Beauty hasn't been released on DVD yet. I believe it's supposed to be released sometime this year.

You might also try looking at your various Walmart, Sam's Clubs (if you have one), Target, and similar shops for the newer ones, and look at places like Blockbuster for the used ones if you don't mind used. I've found a couple of movies I didn't think were still available on the shelves for purchase at both Blockbuster and Hollywood.

Bambii I hope you are starting a collection of DVD's. I'm not sure tapes are going to be around much longer. DVD players are getting very inexspensive(is saw a Sony for $99 over the weekend).

I love DVD movies. I got my DVD player for christmas it is a Koss never heard of the brand before so far I have no complants,. DVD are much more easier to store then tapes. and i love all the extra features.
