Why not convert the Tomorrowland Speedway into a cars themed ride??

It doesn't "fit" with the Tomorrowland theme.

Nothing says "the future" quite like gas-powered vehicles being driven by humans.

I'd love to see the shells of the cars rethemed to look like Cars-world characters, and then equip them with AI and RFID interfaces so they could converse with you about your day - ie ask your kid about the various things they've done, based on the info from your MagicBand.

Personally, I'd like to see it themed to Sugar Rush from Wreck It Ralph.

This would be amazing. But only if you can glitch out on the track!

Personally I think adding more shade in both queue and ride would make it far more pleasant.

People would expect the Cars ride from California and then get to the "CARS" Speedway and be sorely disappointed.

No talk that I've heard of and I honestly can't see that happening. It doesn't "fit" with the Tomorrowland theme. Now, a Carsland at DHS would be wonderful but I don't believe that'll happen either.

How does it currently fit the theme of tomorrowland?

I like the idea suggested to retheme it to sugar rush and adjust the ride so that it's technically part of fantasy land instead.

The only negative to Sugar Rush would be that the darn song would get into your head and be there all day! (like Small World!)

There would probably be a mad rush for Vanellope's

By the time you re-theme it and spend all that money they might as well tear it down and do something new altogether. I'd love to see a Cars themed ride/experience but I like to see the nostalgic rides still around. Something special about those stinky cars that give you whiplash.

you can pay me 100 bucks, and I'll give you a ride on my lane mower...I'll even crash into a fence post so you can get that special whiplash! . Seriously, I'm pretty nostalgic about some stuff (RIP, Mr. Toad *sniff*), but I think Sugar Rush would be so cool!! Although that wound just be one more "girly" thing at MK; Cars would probably be more balanced. Really though, is rather see NEW things added, rather than just rethemed--that's the only way to reduce wait times. (Although anyone who's been since MDE knows that's NOT Disney's goal, as much as the guests would like it to be!) But I understand there is only so much land available at any given park. How about a Tron track--electric (or magnetic, like TTA??) speeder bikes instead of cars? Kind of like ET, so you can't really fall off of it. Lots of neon....would fit in Tomorrowland....??
