Why no MK or AK DAH week of March 11?

Basically, just what the subject line says. We have booked EMM at DHS this week but there are no DAH at these parks-that’s the only week without them in March. Any idea why? I know it’s a Spring break week, but so are the six or seven weeks following and they all have them scheduled.

A lot of people have pointed to that week as (I think) a major Texas spring break week and likely some other large population areas/school systems across the country.

DAH is somewhat circular with park closing times, and based on current park hours (which for March should be approaching the reliable zone at this point), that week has some later park closing times than some of the rest of the month.

To be a little more specific, the latest MK DAH we’ve seen is 10pm-1am, not 11pm as MK hours are for most of that week.



Similarly, so far AK DAH has only been offered when park closing is at 8pm, not 9pm as current park hours are that week.


Of course we don’t really know the logic, but I suspect it has something to do with the above.
