Hi all,

We were planning on taking our boys to DL October 12th but we're a little worried about that being a busy week between the holiday weekend, Utah fall break, etc. We have our winter break on the 9th and 10th of February and thought that might be a good time since it's still a week out from Presidents Day. But when I went online to try and book a package it was a lot more expensive. Is that just because it's farther in the future? Hotel rates and airline rates not competitive yet? Should I just wait for Kids Fly Free in January and hope it all works out? Forget it and go in October?

Any advice appreciated!
Thanks,
Britt

go in oct
its gona be crouded anytime you go and idk why it might be more in feb maybe peak time? or if you do jan id do first few days still see the christmas stuff

I had some friends that went last Feb. and booked through Costco they've been many a time and said it was the best they had ever gone as far as weather and crowds they had no lines to speak of and really lucked out with 75 degree days. Costco was cheaper than the travel agent if you do book through Costco and a special comes up its only 25.00 to change reservation which in the long run will save you more because your reservation is guaranteed and the special will save you a lot more than 25.00.

we went in feb of this year. Mainly because it was an off season, so there would be lower crowds. I think alot of people started going at that time of year for cooler weather and to avoid the crowds and perhaps catch lower rates at the hotels.

So it might have turned off season into a higher season?

We changed our dates from feb 2009 to dec 2008.. because of the rates..and also to see the pretty decorations.:santa:

I have gone for the last 3 years in Feb. and its always between the 8-12 just depending on which days are mid week because thats when I get the best deals of the year...however, I had to wait until jan. of each year because the promos and deals are only out for up to mid dec until then...just keep your eyes peeled to the boards and your ears open...you should get them no problem...

An other reason is ticket prices went up and packages change yearly.
