Why more availability for 10/27-11/3 than 10/21-10/27?

There are a lot more options available in deluxes for that second week. Is there some reason for that? Just curious!

Thanks!

Most schools have their fall breaks before that last week of October. If you do a search, someone has probably posted a poll asking ppl to pick the week their fall break is. That last week will rate about last.

For years our fall break fell the third week of October, which is still later than most other fall breaks around the country. They changed it a few years ago to the last week and it was amazing (in a good way) how much less crowded WDW was.

The peak fall break times are early October around Columbus Day and then mid October. The later you go, the less crowded it gets.

That is generally a good week (that last week of October). You miss a lot of fall breaks but its before the whole Jersey Week thing starts.

There may be other reasons too, but that is what comes to mind for an answer!

That grouping of Deluxes (YC, BC, & Boardwalk) along with the Swan and Dolphin is where they set us up for the Gertner Symposium ITexpo. It is from 10/21 thru 10/25. Disney knows they will practially sell out these resorts if they aren't gone already.

Actually I just check the web site for the Expo and not only are these resorts already sold out but so is the GF.

This is true. My Dh has vacation Oct 17-31. This convention is right smack in the middle of his vacation. Of course there are no discounts at all for those four days. It's really playing havoc with my vacation. We may end up having to stay at three resorts because of this. Disney Cm's don't have a clue as usually. One Cm told me it was because of Veteran's day.:scared1::lmao:
