Why is Wishes Dessert Party at different times on different nights?

I saw on another thread that someone booked a 7 p.m. reservation in December for the party; we have a 9 p.m. reservation that is also in December. I thought the dessert party was always an hour before the fireworks...do the times of the fireworks vary that much? I thought they were always at the same time every night in a particular month. (I understand that they might be later in the summer when it isn't dark yet.)

The time the park closes varies day to day, so the schedule for Wishes also various.

I know the week that I go, Wishes is at 9 pm on a Wednesday when no Spectromagic. But on Saturday it is at 10 pm with Spectro at 9 pm.

But I think in low season, the fireworks are earlier. Remember, people are posting about bookings between August and December. So I am sure fireworks vary from 8 pm - 10 pm during that time. (Although I haven't checked through each day and all the times.)
