I'm going the weekend before you and we're basically doing all the same events!!
It was funny, while I was reading your report I would think....ooh, I need to tell her about such and such event. Then I'd read your next update and be like yep, she booked it, she knows
I really think all the dining events will be worth the cost.
We get what, 6+ characters with the breakfast? Darth Vader has huge lines normally of around an hour. Then you get bonus characters, Greedo and Jawas (don't forget to bring something to trade with them) and Boba Fett and others. We also get to eat in Sci Fi Drive In...which is like, the coolest Disney restaurant ever.
I mean, waiting for those characters would have to be about a two hour wait without the breakfast.
Then the VIP viewing experience...everyone on the SWW thread is saying to get a parade spot in the shade you have to wait about an hour and a half. This way, we have assigned viewing and get free drinks and snacks.
Who knows how early people will need to camp at spots for the fireworks. Once again, our spots are saved and we get SW cupcakes and an alcoholic beverage. Cheers to that.
We get what, 6 characters with the dinner? Chip and Dale (I expect their lines to be huge since they are new), Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald.
These paid events are going to be huge time savers!!
Hi!
That's great! I hope to hear how you enjoyed all of the events! I am not so patiently waiting for May 4th to hear about the breakfast and dinner
LOL
if it wasn't for the Star Wars Thread I am sure I wouldn't have found all of these events or I would have been too late to book them.I totally agree, With the breakfast and dinner events, my sons' will get to meet all the characters that they requested without having to wait in the long lines
And not that my husband will admit it, but he is so excited to meet Boba Fett
He's a huge fan! And I LOVE the Stormtroopers so I am very happy they will be there
Do tell me more about this trading with Greedo and the Jawas!!! I never knew we could do this, but I know my boys would LOVE this!!!! What do we bring to trade with them??
Yes, I agree about the time saving! That is exactly why we had to do them
Now that we took a huge chunk out of waiting in like to meet these characters, the only 2 that my son would also like to meet is C3PO and R2D2.I am very much looking forward to the Feel The Force Package! I had actually given up hope that we would see it since we booked the breakfast. Your right about how long you have to wait to get a good spot and with the breakfast we would have never made it, but now we will!
From what Yulin was describing, the location will be amazing! And bonus with the snacks, waters, etc. For the fireworks, I am so glad we will have an area that is roped off. Not that I can't handle crowds, but I feel like it will safe me my sanity with a reserved area with a double stroller
And yes, a Cocktail is included!! Woo Hoo!
I would love it, if it is one of those "lightsaber" special drinks they sell during SWW!
I guess it's a good thing that when I booked the breakfast, dinner, and feel the force package..I made it for 4 adults,2 children instead of 2 adults, 2 children
I am obsessed with the Sushi at Kona Island (Mmmm). We almost always stay at the Polynesian(and most recently, the VGF) and it has become a tradition to get a Lapu Lapu and Sushi during every Disney Vacation. On many vacations, either my parents or in laws never want to eat late night so they always watch my boys while husband and I grab some Tuna Poke or a Volcano Roll at the sushi counter. This will be the first time that we will be bringing them so we felt it would be WAY easier to make a ressie at Kona and get a table instead. I was happy to score a 6:45pm reservation on arrival night..5/29~

I craved it from March 2013 all the way until November 2013 when I returned. Unfortunately, the 2nd time I got the Tuna I wasn't blown away by the dish. I am just chalking it up as an "off night" at Kona and will definitely return. I did enjoy their chocolate banana creme brulee though
I haven't had breakfast at Kona BUT they do sell the Tonga Toast at Captain Cooks..the Polynesian's Quick Service Restaurant! I tried it and it was delish
Where to begin with my Favorite Sushi dish
Well I Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE their Tuna Nigiri!! On the menu it's a variety(tuna, salmon, etc), but the waiters never gave me a problem to order all Tuna
" sprinkled on top..OMG WOW! This threw the flavor to another level! here is a pic!

Must Have Heard You Because This Morning I Was Able To Snag The Jedi Mickey Dinner On 5/30.. 5 Minutes From My Reservation!
Sure Hoping It Fits Good Cause That Doesn't Give Me Much Time To Find A Replacement!
Also, I've Now Decided To Dress DS4 Up As A Jedi For The Morning Part Of SWW. I Think It Would Make For Great Pictures During JTA. And Since I Can't Leave DS1 Out, I Will Be Dressing Him Up As Yoda!
We Already Have That Costume Since He Was Yoda For Halloween and DS4 Was Darth Vader
