Why Is Their A Clown Here? I Thought We Were Supposed To See Yoda?! A SWW @ The BWV !

I'm going the weekend before you and we're basically doing all the same events!!

It was funny, while I was reading your report I would think....ooh, I need to tell her about such and such event. Then I'd read your next update and be like yep, she booked it, she knows :lmao:

I really think all the dining events will be worth the cost.

We get what, 6+ characters with the breakfast? Darth Vader has huge lines normally of around an hour. Then you get bonus characters, Greedo and Jawas (don't forget to bring something to trade with them) and Boba Fett and others. We also get to eat in Sci Fi Drive In...which is like, the coolest Disney restaurant ever.

I mean, waiting for those characters would have to be about a two hour wait without the breakfast.

Then the VIP viewing experience...everyone on the SWW thread is saying to get a parade spot in the shade you have to wait about an hour and a half. This way, we have assigned viewing and get free drinks and snacks.

Who knows how early people will need to camp at spots for the fireworks. Once again, our spots are saved and we get SW cupcakes and an alcoholic beverage. Cheers to that.

We get what, 6 characters with the dinner? Chip and Dale (I expect their lines to be huge since they are new), Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald.

These paid events are going to be huge time savers!!

Hi! :wave2: That's great! I hope to hear how you enjoyed all of the events! I am not so patiently waiting for May 4th to hear about the breakfast and dinner :)

LOL :lmao: if it wasn't for the Star Wars Thread I am sure I wouldn't have found all of these events or I would have been too late to book them.

I totally agree, With the breakfast and dinner events, my sons' will get to meet all the characters that they requested without having to wait in the long lines  And not that my husband will admit it, but he is so excited to meet Boba Fett ;) He's a huge fan! And I LOVE the Stormtroopers so I am very happy they will be there :goodvibes

Do tell me more about this trading with Greedo and the Jawas!!! I never knew we could do this, but I know my boys would LOVE this!!!! What do we bring to trade with them??

Yes, I agree about the time saving! That is exactly why we had to do them :) Now that we took a huge chunk out of waiting in like to meet these characters, the only 2 that my son would also like to meet is C3PO and R2D2.

I am very much looking forward to the Feel The Force Package! I had actually given up hope that we would see it since we booked the breakfast. Your right about how long you have to wait to get a good spot and with the breakfast we would have never made it, but now we will! :yay: From what Yulin was describing, the location will be amazing! And bonus with the snacks, waters, etc.

For the fireworks, I am so glad we will have an area that is roped off. Not that I can't handle crowds, but I feel like it will safe me my sanity with a reserved area with a double stroller :) And yes, a Cocktail is included!! Woo Hoo! :cool1: I would love it, if it is one of those "lightsaber" special drinks they sell during SWW!

Hey Everyone :) Hope you all had a great weekend! I have some updates for you~:yay:

My brother and fiance have booked their trip with us in May!:woohoo: I guess it's a good thing that when I booked the breakfast, dinner, and feel the force package..I made it for 4 adults,2 children instead of 2 adults, 2 children :lmao: Especially since the events are no longer available on 5/30 :thumbsup2

Another thing that has been added is a reservation at the Kona Cafe  I am obsessed with the Sushi at Kona Island (Mmmm). We almost always stay at the Polynesian(and most recently, the VGF) and it has become a tradition to get a Lapu Lapu and Sushi during every Disney Vacation. On many vacations, either my parents or in laws never want to eat late night so they always watch my boys while husband and I grab some Tuna Poke or a Volcano Roll at the sushi counter. This will be the first time that we will be bringing them so we felt it would be WAY easier to make a ressie at Kona and get a table instead. I was happy to score a 6:45pm reservation on arrival night..5/29~:dance3:

With Kona Cafe being added to our agenda, I've modified our first day to be:

Thursday, May 29th

Most likely arrive at BWV around 12:15pm. - We land at 11:00am

Check-in (hopefully) and explore the resort since we haven't stayed here before.

Grab some lunch and Head over to Epcot
FP:
Soarin
Spaceship Earth
Figment

Take Monorail to TTC.
Walk to the Polynesian(:cloud9: LOVE this Resort), check out some of the DVC construction( I am begging my husband to buy in here!)
Grab some dinner at Kona Cafe
After Dinner, Grab a drink at the Barefoot Pool Bar
Watch Wishes :woohoo:
Most likely rent a cab to go back to our resort instead of taking the monorail to the MK and taking the bus back to the BWV.

Notice Below is what got replaced... LOL Call in an early night...who was I kidding :rotfl:

Stroll through WS as we go back to the BWV. We are calling this an early night since we have to be up super early the next morning.

Our plans didn't change that much for 5/30..our Star Wars Day, besides the fact that my brother's fiance booked him the D-Tech me experience at 12:30pm.. he is going to FREAK when he finds out he is going to be carbon-freezed!

Also, Future SIL wants to check out the Wedding Pavilion since that is the only day we are there that their's a gap in between weddings. Also, she wanted to check out the outdoor locations for their cake cutting ceremony since the standard location is indoors in a ballroom. We were thinking during our "break time" at the resort, her and I could run through Epcot and take the Monorail over there while my brother and husband stays at the resort so the boys can nap.

Friday May 30th:

Watch opening show

Sign up DS for JTA

Breakfast @ Sci - Fi 9:00am

Check in for FtF Parade Viewing

D-Tech My Brother

Try and meet C3PO and R2-D2

Back to the BWV for an afternoon break and kids nap

Try to squeeze in some wedding stuff with Future SIL while Husband and Brother stay at resort so the boys can nap

Dinner @ H&V 6:00pm

FP:

Toy Story

Check in for FtF Dessert Party

On another note...Our Magical Express packet came in the mail Saturday! :yay: :yay: Love getting Mickey Mail! I thought it was cool how they even included a little pamphlet on Star Wars Weekends! :darth::yoda:

Today is the last day to customize Magic Bands, so they should be shipping our by tomorrow!

31 DAYS!!!! :banana::banana:

lol, you made your long day even longer now! :goodvibes wedding stuff though will be so fun! Yay for Kona, I haven't had dinner there but always hear good things. I have to go for breakfast though, must have my tonga toast!

Another Kona Cafe Lover in da house! We go there 3 out of the 4 times we go each year!! I am in love with the Caterpillar Roll! I get it every time...I do miss the days when they made the sushi in front of you over at the Bar Seating though.

:laughing: Ugh I know, but looking at the wedding stuff should be lots of fun! :goodvibes I've had dinner at Kona twice...the first time I was obsessed with their togarashi tuna:cloud9: I craved it from March 2013 all the way until November 2013 when I returned. Unfortunately, the 2nd time I got the Tuna I wasn't blown away by the dish. I am just chalking it up as an "off night" at Kona and will definitely return. I did enjoy their chocolate banana creme brulee though :bitelip: I haven't had breakfast at Kona BUT they do sell the Tonga Toast at Captain Cooks..the Polynesian's Quick Service Restaurant! I tried it and it was delish :thumbsup2

You and Me Both! :lmao: When staying at the Polynesian, it's a no-brainer to go to Kona almost every night of vacation. When staying at the VGF last year.. my husband and I walked to the Polynesian every night(seriously) to get Sushi and a Lapu Lapu.:rotfl: In fact, the funniest thing was that on our last night in Disney, he ended up falling asleep on the sofa before we could head over..I told my MIL "forget him...I am not missing my sushi on my last night here!" and off I went ALONE to Kona! :lmao: I must say though..it was actually very relaxing to sit at the counter facing the monorail and have my sushi and some cocktails in quiet:cutie: Where to begin with my Favorite Sushi dish :scratchin Well I Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE their Tuna Nigiri!! On the menu it's a variety(tuna, salmon, etc), but the waiters never gave me a problem to order all Tuna :) It was weird..the first night, I ordered the tuna nigiri and it came out as you would expect(tuna over rice) and then every night after that it came out with this "black rock salt :confused3 " sprinkled on top..OMG WOW! This threw the flavor to another level! here is a pic!

2nd choice is the Tuna Poke!! Love this dish, but it is kind of pricey for not that much. But whatever that sauce is that they put on top is AMAZING!!

And last, but not least is the Volcano Roll.

Shoot..I just made myself so hungry right now :lmao: I will have to try the caterpillar roll when I return! I agree with you, I really enjoyed watching them make the sushi at the bar too. One of the Cast Members who has worked at Kona since I can remember told us that the Sushi there has gotten so popular that they had no choice, but to move it back in the kitchen where more than 2 sushi rollers could make it.

Last Week My Parents Decided To Join Us In Disney World! I Have No Idea Why They Waited So Long Because I Knew The Second My Brother Decided To Join Us, My Parents Would Cave And Also Fly Down! :lmao: Needless To Say, I Was Able To Get Them A Good AP Rate At The BWV In A 1 Bedroom. Unfortunately Because It Is So Late In The Game, I Was Not Able To Get Them Into The Star Wars Dining Events, But I Was Able To Score Them A Breakfast At Hollywood & Vine At The Same Time That We Will Be At Sci-Fi. We Will Most Likely Set Them Up At 50's Prime Time When We Go To Hollywood & Vine For Dinner. I Was Shocked To See That I Couldn't Add Them On To Our Kona Ressie. I Am Hoping That Something Will Open Up, But If Not, They Can Always Sit At The Sushi Counter While We Are At The Table. Also, Our Magic Bands Came In!:banana: Loving The DVC Sliders!

22 Days!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Yay for Mickey mail! Those sliders are cute!

How nice that your parents are joining you! Too bad they can't fit on the ressies but I'm sure some Pixie Dust will happen at some point!

I am so excited to get my new Magic Bands now because of those adorable DVC sliders! Love the Star Wars shirt !! I went on polyvore.com and got some ideas for a Boba Fett inspired outfit, and I finally have all the pieces for it! I am so excited I about can't stand it...LOL. My DH Jeremy is going to be wearing Storm Trooper inspired attire! I wish the rest of my family enjoyed Disney as much as we do, but no one really gets it...haha So it is great that your family is going to be joining you for the trip!

Thank You! I Actually Found It Quite Difficult To Find A Tank Top That Wasn't One Of Those "Costume" Shirts. Oh Wow, Your Outfit Sounds Fun..My Husband Would Appreciate It Since Boba Fett Is His Fav Character :thumbsup2 My Family Is Obsessed With Disney!:rotfl: It's A Good Thing & A Bad Thing..It's Good To Have Family On Vaca With You, But At The Same Time, Since No One Was Planning On Joining, My Husband & I Were Planning A "Not Rush Around" Kind Of Trip(Besides Our SWW Day) Since It Was Just Us & Our Boys. Now That Everyone Is Joining, We Are Back To Being Our Crazy-Selves In Disney!

Yay new shirt! So cool!!!

Ohmanohman! You are leaving so soon!!!!! :dance3:

Thank You!! Luckily I Ordered It When I Did Because I Just Tracked It & It's Estimated To Be Delivered By 5/23:scared: Sure Hoping It Fits Good Cause That Doesn't Give Me Much Time To Find A Replacement!

I Know!! :yay: :yay: :yay: So Looking Forward To Getting Away :)

Woo Hoo! :woohoo::woohoo: SINGLE DIGIT DANCE!!! :cool1: :cool1: 9 Days Until We Arrive For Our First SWW!! Hubby's Shirt Has Finally Shipped And Should Be Arriving Soon! :thumbsup2 If Any Of You Have Seen The Intership(with Vince Vaughn) You Will Recognize That One Of The Kids Was Wearing It! ;) I'm Keeping An Eye On The 10 Day Forecast..Woah It Looks Like It's Going To Be A Hot One :scared: We Are Finally Almost There!:cheer2: Also, I've Now Decided To Dress DS4 Up As A Jedi For The Morning Part Of SWW. I Think It Would Make For Great Pictures During JTA. And Since I Can't Leave DS1 Out, I Will Be Dressing Him Up As Yoda! :rotfl2: We Already Have That Costume Since He Was Yoda For Halloween and DS4 Was Darth Vader :)
Here Is A Picture Of Hubby's Shirt!
