Ok,
I posted a reply to a post and the time it has posted is 9pm. It is only 4pm (east coast) right now.

Why is the posted time off?

This has to do with your settings in your user cp.

It says GMT in the lower left...that's Greenwich Mean Time, which is about 5 hours ahead of me in Central Daylight Time.
