Why is my "this will be a relaxing trip, I promise" trip so stressful?

Here is my first pre-trip report although this will be our 5th trip. We are DH who only likes Disney trips because he likes to see how happy our DD's 17 and almost 13, are while we are there. DD 17 likes Disney a lot but DD 13 LOvES it with a passion. I am also passionate about the whole experience including the planning.

Probably too passionate for my family. I have been known to drive them crazy with my constant questions and "would you like to do A or B or we could do C" which also carries over from planning to the trip. I am also a bit commando and drag them out of bed for rope drops etc.

So when the discussion of this trip came up I told myself I was going to relax about the whole experience. We planned 10 days so that's plenty of time to do everything and not rush. We have done other trips. There is little we haven't done. I am going to just relax and enjoy.

So step one was where to stay. We had done two trips to values, All Star Music and Movies. We had done one at CSR. As much as I wanted deluxe was not in our budget for 10 days in June. So I headed to the boards to help us figure out where to stay. After much research and deliberation we settled on CBR. The new rooms and the queen beds as well as the beach theme sold us. That part was easy, only slightly stressful but all good once the decision was made.

Ok so far so good. On to the next step. What's next on the timeline? ADR s. Ok no big deal. That's never been a problem before. We aren't huge TS eaters. Usually just do 2 or 3 and never have worried about booking at 180 days. Well DD 17 is graduating from High School this year and I told her to be thinking about where she wants her celebration dinner. Of course BOG. Argh! Ok well we are going for 10 days certainly we can get one night there. So what if I have to be up at midnight 180 days before. No big deal, the week before Christmas is an ok time to be working on that right?

If I am going to do one ADR then I should do them all right? Ok so what parks will I be in? I need the park hours then. They are not out yet? What how can I plan where we eat without knowing where I am going to be? When do the hours come out? About 180 days before? What?

Now I am stressed. I am in planning limbo. How do I handle this? I have to do something so here we go, I will start a pre trip report. Or a venting report to deal with my stress of my "relaxing" trip.

Stay tuned :)
