Why is it "the BIG" 4-0??

I think it is considered big because it is about the midpoint of life expectancy.

OMG! That's kinda depressing! Nothing more scary than facing your own mortality.

See...I knew there was a good reason for being a rejuvenile!

It is the first big breakdown of the body...bi-focals, adding fiber and aspirin, people look shocked if you become pregnant, and remind you that "you aren't getting any younger!" DUH!

On the other hand, life is good in the 40's. We know a million x's more than we knew in our 20's and hopefully have the common sense to put it into practice! I wouldn't go back for the life of me! Life isn't just theory...it is experience.
