Why is IOA so busy on Mondays?

We're planning a last minute trip to Universal at the end of May/beginning of June for 5 nights. Planning to do Aquatica (Fri),Seaworld (Sat) and Universal (Sun & Monday). We have complimentary one day 2 park tix for Sunday but need to buy the tix for Monday. Just trying to decide if I should get the 2 park tix for Monday or just stick with IoA on Sunday and do US on Monday. Anyone know why the crowd calendar always shows IoA as a high level park on Mondays but US is a low level park on the same day?

I'm concerned about doing US on Monday because my DH will have left for a conference so i will have our 3 kids by myself and they vary greatly for the height requirements so there will be things my oldest will have to skip. If we split the parks we can do all the big rides on Sunday and then hit all the smaller rides on Monday. But I don't want to spend the additional $ for a 2 park pass if UoA is going to be mobbed. We are staying on site so we have FOTL access but its still hard to keep an eye on all 3 kids if the place is packed.

I think Monday is busier in general in a typical week, but not necessarily in one park versus another. IoA has WWoHP of course, and WWoHP's small size tends to magnify the effect of larger crowds.

I don't know how useful crowd calendars are for Universal--they aren't mentioned much on here.

If you're staying on site, I wouldn't pay much attention to projected crowds as the included Express pass should negate any major crowd concerns.

I'm not sure I answered your question, but that's my two bits. :)
